Aims Asset Management Fraud/ Deception
« on: September 29, 2009, 09:42 AM »

I invested about 160k in this aims of a thing as a retirement scheme, they updated me for two months and then went incomunicado. i went to their office recently to be informed that my money as grown negatively to about 50k in less than 2 years. reason stock market crash.
i asked, how about their other investments they bragged about initially. Answer: Sorry we only deal in stocks
i asked, how do you cope with salaries and overheads Answer: looking
I requested to close down the account and have the balance, Answer: No sir it's not possible.

what manner of injustice is this and the funniest is that all those staff they used for the propaganda are no more with them.

unfortunately they were said to be Godly, religious and pray.  i wonder

what shall i do

Its a pity you fell for these guys 'AIMS',  I'm not saying they are fraudsters or not;
 *  why must you go to their office before you got updated about the loss?
 *  why should the update last for only 2 months? -whatever the amount invested
 *  they tell you a stock closes today, ask them a year later, they say its still on, why?

Those staff can't remain there,  working hard with no 'pay' they rely on commission, that aside.
Go find out, the company is working on slimming the number of its staff and they are planning to cut cost on office sites.

Is it bankrupsy?,  not sure but they need to answer lots of questions.

Do a lot of home work and research before investing in such,  Sad Shocked
All the best.
