49th Anniversary Gift From Senator Mark
« on: October 01, 2009, 12:19 PM »

Mark also expressed concern over the lingering face-off between the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal Government and called for amicable resolution.
He urged ASUU to call off the strike and return to the classroom as a gift to the nation for the 49th independence anniversary.

What has ASUU strike got to do with the 49th Anniversary. All we are after is for FG to settle with ASUU and pave way for resumption

Why is he saying that ASUU should call off the strike? Why can't he say that the FG should return to the negotiation table or endorse an agreement it made?

I never knew Sen. Mark could say a thing like this, at this time, over the ASUU,FG face-off. I'm really very shocked at this wrong utterance! He should've been quiet than to make such a disgraceful statement.

don't mind the arrogant bastard, i can remember when this fool was the then minister for communication, during the military regime, when nigerians were agitating for GSM usage like our neighbouring country, Ghana , he said GSM was not for poor people Undecided.
