Vs

Manchester United leapfrogged Chelsea after the win over Stoke and  at the top of the table at the moment. Sunderland, on the other hand, remained in the top part of the table thanks to the convincing win over Wolves but they will struggle to get anything from this game.Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to make some changes from the team that won in Europe, although Wayne Rooney will almost certainly be leading the line. The England striker is having an excellent season.Manchester United seem to have reached top form lately as they are winning games in all the competitions entered and they seem to have no problems coping with the busy schedule. However, it is well known that this team is trying to win games with as little effort as possible when they are playing every three or four days and its likely  that the hosts will  not give their best in this match.Albeit that United are expected to win this game, but  they  not will score more than two goals.Michael Owen has been ruled out with groin injury, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov are set to start up front. Vander Sar and Dokitor asst  Hargreavesare still missing.

Steve Bruce spent many happy seasons at Old Trafford and will have worked out a gameplan to counteract the Red Devils. It will probably consist of getting men behind the ball , If Wigan can beat chelsea. Sunderland can United Grin. Considering that fergie's men will be worn out from the mid week UCl match with woflsburg.
Steve Bruce has transformed Sunderland into a goal-scoring machine, although he didn’t have such a difficult job in the first place considering the excellent attacking players he has at his disposal. The Black Cats scored 14 goals in 7 league games and five goals against Wolves prove they are in very good form at the moment. Even though they are likely to have a tough task at Old Trafford.
