I am waiting till the time, people with dom account will be able to buy $$ from the bank and also to be able to do transfer online, and wont have to go thru your banks in western world or have to go to Nigeria to get your money out of there.

You sure can do online transfer if u got a dom account with GTB but you need to contact them for their code, be ready to answer questions though before dem go release the code for you, I have a dom account with them and I send and receive dollars from Europe easily to and from my dollar account, of course thats why its a domiciliary account, other benefits are that you can link it to your Master card and fund your Master card with it. Every transaction you engage is logged with CBN so watch it.

@lite5, I don't think you can open the  account with them via telephone because their standard requirements are for you to submit two reference forms duly signed by current account holders preferrably with GTB and copies of your utility bill and ID.
