I sometimes blind copy (bcc) my boss on some mails so I can carry him along on what I'm doing. But it embarasses me when he replies to such mails and copy the original recipients. It looks as if I was setting the original recipients up since they are mostly my colleagues and they often take such mails from me as a friendly reminder. However, my boss' reply make it look as if I was reporting them to higher authority.
How can I let him know he is killing my rep?

Next time, just use plain old CC.

lf its a friendly reminder as u called it,l dont think theres need to copy or blind copy your boss. To me it actually seems u are reporting them, if not why not CC instead of using BCC.
