do u realize that our strikers only scored one goal while defensive midfielders scored the other 4 goals

i think to win that game, defenders should play up front while our strikers go behind coz they'v not been scoring

n where is it cofirmed that we r meetin the germans. we r actually meeting the ghanians.though im not certain. i there any link available pls

Yes it is confirmed that we are meeting the Germans. The other problem is that if we win, we will face the winner between BRASIL and Uruguay. It is time for the team to stand up and be counted, or leave the stage for the men.

Sincerely , the Nigerian style of football always causes problem for the Germans, at any level , even female soccer.
Our style of keeping the ball and allowing for individual expression by the players within the team context is always difficult for the Germans, the question will now be the extent to which we maximise returns.

The Germans will find it really tough. This is not cameroun.

9ra land, una no get eyes ooooooo! Even if we pass Germany, we will face Brazil or Uruguay!

Even pastor oritsejafor and the late prof peller can not help us here ooooooo!

if Siasia had known, he would have ensured we dint qualify.

Humiliation in the making. its inevitable

Lets beat Germany first , after that may be God will help us empower uruguay to beat Brasil , then we can manage with Uruguay.

I'm actually happy we're meeting Germany instead of Uruguay or Ghana. I predict a scoreline of 1 nil in favour of Nigeria.

Teams get better the further they progress in a tourney. The Nigerian team is not as bad as results indictate. If the strikers show up or if players , wether defender or strikers , convert the many chances we create then the FE stand a chance of beating Germany .

NIGERIA 2-1 GERMANY.
believe me the FLYING EAGLES will surprice NIGERIANS with victory.

If the boys can work on their shooting skills, they will overcome the Germans. The team is not as bad as it looked, they create enough scoring chances only to miss them, defensively, we are not bad too. I expect atough match but hope and pray the FE triumph.

I hope that Fatai guy is not going to play and they should play a defensive game. Since scoring against strong defenses is a problem for us, we should at least stop the Germans from scoring too, a penalty shootout win (although heart wrenching for we the fans) is the must feasible right now.

We're facing Germany:

Ghana is facing South Africa, which is unfortunate at this stage.

Nigeria qualify as one of the best loosers (15th positon in the round of 16 as costa rica being the last)

I agree so much  with mike oscar he said ;

Quote
There we go again. It's not a question of "no matter what happens on that day, "

Objectively speaking we MUST straighten out the real issues with the team. There is still a lot more work to be done.

1. We need to Sharpen our attack. They must finish clinically upfront by putting the ball behind the German keeper.
2. Our defence should stay alert and play their roles with a lot of concentration, i mean a lot of concentration then we can say "whatever happens, "

We need the kind of commitment I see in Nwankwo from the our backliners. If Rabiu starts on a holding midfield role then we might carry the day.

There is a lot to be done with attacking force if you want to be an indefatigable attacking German youth side. The German's Youth football team (U-20) is the  best as far as Fifa ranking is concerned beating the likes of Spain (flying eagles most difficult opponent in frist round), Italy, Czech rep.

They won the European U-20 cup with the best of strikers we have seen so far.

Siasia need to chastise this boys and put in them the kind of resilience that was seen in Mikel Obi,Taiye Taiwo and Ogbuike's days.
The Germans are coming into this match with a lot of confidence inspired by thier rating and perfomances so far.

It's going to be an albeit ardous task for our Boys; except they change thier style by attacking with sense,i dont see them going past the germans.
