@marymos
i dont agree with u, de were in injury time dat conna might have have result positively tak chelsea as a case study, if chelsea are playing and de ar in dying minute u will see terry even Ricardo wil all go for headin and at times it brings good news even man utd.
My blam goes to the defenders mostly dat so called haruna de were'nt playin wit seriousness.
Our coach was too stret to have driven does guys because de did'nt arriv to d camp on time. I believ he has learnt his lessons.

@FBS

Inasmuch as I adore Sia1 and just so I dont mention the accumulation of goodwill he ha enjoyed worldwide . . . I am utterly disappointed in his performance at this last competition Shocked

isnt Sia1 supposed to be the 15th best coach in the world ? Undecided

for crying out 1 win out of 4 games make Amodu look like a Knight thats being unfairly unknighted Grin Grin

whichever way, I can only see the blame primarily is to Siasia for not taking any sane striker to the tourney, no players ready to die on the field, no player hungry enuff to do the unusual thruout the competition, and worse still IT WASNT LADDAN BOSSO OR MYSELF THAT SELECTED THAT TEAM FOR EFF SAKE !!! Embarrassed Cry

Can I just say the problem of Nigerian footie is deeply spiritual and I fear the worse is about to happen, the free fall is what we are experiencing, for how long WE DONT KNOW !!! Undecided

Pls dont pretend as if u dont know that I purposely didnt bother discussing Lukman Haruna as his Nigerian career is obviously finished !!! on second tots I learnt Bosso said since Haruna was named in that team he should just have been given the captain's band and forgotten on the field as a short 1 rather than him being a regular player inflicting the team with bad luck Shocked Grin Grin Grin
@ Dr Kitaun,

We all adored Grin Sia1 and as said numerous times, his finest moment was with the class of Holland 2005. We saw his potentials and everyone sheepishly followed and believed in his abilities. But who can blame us?  Grin

Sia1 is obviously a good coach (just imagine those guys under the tutelage of Amodu or Bosso. . . Shocked) but like you rightly mentioned, it wasn't yourself, myself, Debosky Grin or Amodu that selected those players. Where on earth did he get them from? How can you select a team with no strikers or dead ball specialists?

Sia1 technical abilities and coaching skills will of course now be questioned but even AF or JM (or combined) wouldn't have succeeded in bringing out the best in those boys. They cannot give what they do not have. And why did he fancy playing Nwankwo as a defender?

Haruna? I have promised myself not to ever discuss about that boy. He doesn't deserve it. How did he make the team? Something tells me his father works or has connection with NFF. Strangely though, a certain MU fan believes he has class.  Cheesy

@Dr Kit

I keep on rewinding my mind back to the pools of talented young players we have in those days.

What is happening to us?

Are these guys the best we could parade?

Just got those phone numbers yesterday

Heck that ball was toe-poked str8 down the middle where the fool shoulda been standing!!!!!?Huh

Well i'll keep echoing it - SIASIA's FAULT! Don't ever go starting s*******t, you can never finish successfully - bet he's learnt his lesson now!
