I am facing the same problem too. I also learnt that private placements are not regulated by SEC. Have been wondering if there is way to pressure the companies involved to get themselves listed or have people's money returned.

Yes, on private placement 'OYO'. it has nothing to do with sec.

Go to the coy's registrars if u want to sell they can get buyer for u or refer you to som1 that is interested in the coy's shares.

Cheers

You will never be able to sell. The registrar will never help cos they cant get a buyer for u. The registrar will never get her self involved in getting a buyer for "an unverified shares/certificate"
So keep your certificate and start praying for your company to be listed soonest. On the alternative u can look for a frnd who may be willing to buy unverified certificate and who can trust u based on self recognition.

Keep waiting and praying !!!!!!!!!. See as man Pikin use him money to buy trouble. lol

i understand your urge to bail out of the private placements.but notwithstanding you must be ready to sell at a price lower or the exact price you bought them.
