Who The Heck Cares About Nigerian History?

Alot of Nigerians know very little about Nigerian History. Why isn't Nigerian History Integrated into the core educational requirement? Instead subjects

such as French are required.  In contries such as the US it is necessary to have taken History at some point (theres a reason for that).

Point is I think most Nigerian citizens having the knowledge of their history wold make Nigeria a better country. And be more educated when making

certain political decisions. (History does repeat itself, so,

And who said they don't treat Nigerian history in our schools? what did you school?

In most Nigerian schools if your major is in the humanities then you have to study History. Thats why I used the word CORE, meaning irrespective of your major the most basic history should be taught, sort of like french. (I'm not saying its not taught)
