Yardua just chose bayelsa state gov as VP. Will igbo ever get to the Aso rock again? HAve the Igbos done anything wrong? Will the igbos ever enjoy what every nigerians are enjoying?

In this 2007 elections, only Ojukwu is the igbo candidate,,, He still stands no chnace.

Igbos will take Nigerians to a better future if they are given the chnace

Yes i agree that igbo's will take Nigeria to a better place if given a chance but i don't see that happening in the near future. You must understand that alot of people form the other tribes hates the igbos because of their smart brain and can't afford to let an igbo man be the president again and get better praise than them. Just think about who brought Nigerians their independence.

At the right time yes. For now we need to concentrate more on repatriating our investments in other parts of Nigeria back to Alaigbo. And to develop our enclave to the best of our abilities.

I think the Igbos need some form of self examination that will expunge selfishness in their midst. It is unfortunate that anytime an opportunity beckons, every igbo man would want to be president and none would deem it fit to step down for another. This has been a great impediment to serious igbo candidates because votes that would have accrued to their consesnsus candidate are shared amongst all of them. I am not igbo but I will never support a system that would exclude any tribe from the presidency since Nigeria belongs to all of us.

Now that the Yorubas have had their turn (1999 - 2007) and the Hausas are currently having theirs, I think the Igbo people should naturally take their turn after UMYA. They should come together now and start putting structures in place that would help them to achieve this dream in the near future.  Imagine Ken Nnamani, Peter Obi, Uche Chukwumerije (pardon his misgivings per June 12 under IBB's regime), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Oby Ezekwesili, Charles Soludo, Dora Akunyili as Nigeria's president.

Now na the time to start, una hear?
