It's just about connecting your PHP or any web scripting language  to a database.

In the future, learn to use google or any other resource then only post questions if after doing your own research/coding, you get stuck.

It depends on the type of search engine you want to create. The desired output determines the coding. If you still search around you can get at some open source programs you can modify and use. Work out something then ask questions. Alot of people are here to help.

It ways easier for you create a customized Google Search that to create a search engine of your own. Nevertheless, you should give it a shot. The experience will certainly help you at other times.
