Pachter: Microsoft Can Cut Xbox 360 Price At Anytime

we are approaching the third year of the playstation 3, and every 3rd year of the playstation brand it goes mainstream, it exceeds all expectations, it happened with the PS1, PS2 and the PSP. 

   There is nothing Microsoft can do, Sony has this gaming generation locked up, Microsoft failed with their pricing, Imagine what will happen when we see a $199 ps3 sometime around next 2 or 3 years and probably accompanied with PS3 MINI. a slimmer version of the PS3 slim. Coupled with their 20 gigantic first party studios.  Sony momentum can't be stopped by Nintendo or Microsoft because the wii has gotten to it's saturation point and it's lack diversity is also a major blow, on Microsoft, except it gives out the xbox for free .  wait. . . . did i just hear Project Natal ? but . . .b. u. t Project Natal is a Cloned/over hyped and glorified Playstation Eye, Dont forget Sony also has it motion controller (unconfirmed name 'SPHERE') which can do a 1:1 accurate motion tracking, unlike wii mote that has a little less accurate 1:0 motion tracking. Don't forget Blu-ray!

  The PS3 will also pass the wii Before its 10 YEAR lifes span. Owiing to the fact that the wii has reached it saturation point, the wii price cut failed to have the desired impact Nintendo hoped for, as it was still out sold by PS3 the week it came down to $199 even when the ps3 had price cut a month ago.
