When it comes to the Nobel Peace Prize, Republicans are clearly an inconsequential minority.
When most Republicans oppose the idea of "peace", and simply call it "appeasement", how can any Republican win a Nobel Peace Prize in this century?
Republican politicians (part of the scum of the earth), oppose:
1. Peace between Israel and Palestine.
2. Peaceful relations with Iran
3. Peaceful relations with Cuba
4. Peaceful relations with Venezuela
5. Peaceful relations with North Korea
6. Peaceful relations with Russia
7. Peaceful relations with Libya
There is nothing "peaceful" about Republican politicians!

Posa, no be so?  I still fancy the science aspect of the prizes though . . . imagine if they handed out Nobel prizes to scientists or literalists for the "promise of future findings" or "future writings" or as a "gift to encourage them to keep trying". It's not Obama's fault, he didn't give himself the award, but those twats at Nobel should understand they've cheapened the award every year for about the past decade. |

thats the way things are these days. Nothing's the way it used to be and standards are gone with the wind. I dont care about the award that much, just that democracy has become a thing of the past and nowadays people are being forced to swallow other people's opinions all the time. |

@topic, The absurdity of this award was alluded to recently even in the world of sports. Can you imagine Capello comparing an undeserved award bestowed on David Beckham to Obama receiving the Noble Peace Prize?
