I live in UK and i don't know why girls are foolish.Once you are in the UK all the girls are falling like pack of card.Do you know the number of girls queuing like you? You are a disgrace to the first guy, are you perfect to say he has his faults. Now i believe the study that say women can give up 95% for 5%.
We look nice but you will know what we are after xmas (sleeping with you and going back to base Grin Grin). What made girls in Nigeria girls think those outside don't have Girlfriends? It baffles me.
Shaa i will stop here so that we can still use our cousins to arrange cheap whores in 9ja with the usual marriage.I think its poverty that is causing the problem.

women!! what makes guy 2 a more perfect fit- ego, kudi, owo Shocked

u women will never stop to amaze me, once una hear money or abroad

una go begin dey confuse. i just pity the mumu no. 1 that is still loving u.

So the fact that he's rich and he's in jand makes him incapable of true love  Huh  Undecided

Personally, I dont give a hoot about what the guy wants or what is best for any of the guy. Anytime anyday, I'll advise her to go for what she wants and if she says she wants guy 2 . . .  I'll even help her plan the aso ebi!!

I give her enough credit (based on her age), to think that she'll make the right decision. But it'll be wrong for her to go ahead and marry guy A just because they've been dating for a long time. If the tables were truned, the guy wont do it for her!!

I have a friend that's 32 and she has been dating her BF for over 10 years . . .  guess what happened? He left her to marry a 25 year-old. That's life, you deal with such things. The guy's not in jand and he's far from being rich!

I dont judge people based on how rich or poor they are!! And dont forget that the fact the guy's abroad dosen't exactly guarantee his wealth!!

I like Wink

It's the simple truth!!

Somehow people have come up with this theory that the rich are bad and the poor or not-so-rich are good!! How did that happen Huh

I wouldn't want a guy to take one look at me and say . . . there's she is, she must be rich so I cant date her OR OMG! She looks poor . . . the ideal woman!!

People forget that ultimately you live ALL your life with the dicisions you make!! Why should she marry guy A because of what people will say?

Hey people,  I am really down right now and need some real good advice. Would appreciate if you drop SENSIBLE replies as im totally confused right now,  Sad

I am in love with two guys,

Guy one:

Weve been together for years now and I love him dearly. He is a year older than me and has a decent job. Before anything else we are great friends and have our good and bad times, but all in all, we love each other and plan to get married soon. He is the typical everyday and tries his best to please me in a real sense of way.

Guy Two

Gorgeous guy who is desperately in love with me and wants to marry me ASAP. he has all the means in place and he is a very great guy too. Met him through my best friend who happens to be his cousin. He was finding wife and I was recommended. He was a born bred and buttered UK guy and  hasn’t been to the country in a while. I haven’t met him in person but we have been talking for the past 9 months and we flow very well. He is hell bent on making me his and has vowed to come in Dec. for the trad. I must confess; he is everything I ever dreamed of in a guy. The first one has flaws here and there but this second dude is near perfect….oh and he is 7 years older (which I consider perfect by the way )

So the question now is WERIN I GO DO?!!! I am so confused as I love the first one based on what we share and who he is. The second guy;  I haven’t met, but still feel something really strong for him. No worri guys; I don check: he aint been married before nor does he have any love child anywhere,  I mean this guy is quite impossible to believe,  his types are extinct! His cousin who happens to be my childhood friend guarantees that he is for real and would make me entirely happy for the rest of my life. I have been through some pretty rough times with the first dude as his people dint accept me at first and stuff but now, they are game.

Please I would appreciate any reasonable advise as I have run out of ideas!

Dump the 2 of them.

Everybody has tried to put their view across either abusive or not,
What u have to understand is u're talking about marriage
Talking on the phone with the abroad guy doesn't mean he's the man for u,it's so easy to chat up someone over the phone than when you come face to face
I really do think you should know better by now, The devil has ways of wanting to scatter things we've worked hard for ,for the unforseen which is the guy abroad.
I don't really understand why you would want to leave someone that u've grown together and had your ups and down with for someone that u both don't know anything about it each and we're talking about marriage, the people dat have loved each other and known each other are trying to still hold their marriages together talkless of not knowing the person,
Am sure your guy 1 is the perfect person for marriage from your not, U want to leave certainity fo uncertainity,

Have you ever asked yourself this question,
The guy 2 why doesn't he have a stable g/firend that he cn marry where he is and u can probably throw the same question to the guy

I'ill give you the reply
1.He'ill state that girls in u.k are useles
2.He's been 2 busy with work
3.He's just never met the girl

All the ans given are all things that happen anywhere in the world

But g/firend did your bestfriend not know you were already dating the other guy.this where the comment of na wa comes into it, U just wanted a u.k guy but things are not easy and you have to be patient with your first guy and u both would probably be able to visit u.k with time and u'ill see it's not all that and u will be greatly disappointed.

Don't make the biggest mistake of your life,u have waited this long don't make the wrong choice,
U'ill forever regret for the rest of your life,

I hope my message is more informative and hope u choose the first guy honestly

People have stated other examples but that hasn't been urs and u both are still with each other.

The grass always looks greener on the other side until u cross over to the other side,
Put a lot more effort into your current relationship than worrying about the unforseen and expectation of the u.k guy,
If he really wants a wife he should either chose where he is or when he eventually relocates to naija as he intents then he can look for one himself.

To be honest with you, No matter what i advice now, u might not take it. my first stand in this case is that the issue of comparism must arise in your marriage which is not good, no matter the guy u marry 1 or 2 you must eventually compare them and that is not healthy for any marriage. I will never go for probability. And if you ask me, that is what the second guy is. you have not seen each other but your mind have just captured a probability of who he looks like. i want you to know that appearance is different from reality. Why put the first guy in such a state in your heart? from your post and other replies. I can sense that your mind is really holding up for the second guy. I will not advice you marry the first guy or the second, but I think the first guy has more advantage than the second in your heart. you should marry the first on the ground that you have been able to prove to his family member that you are a good girl and you will make a perfect wife, have you seen your U.K bobo’s family or just only the sister that you’ve meet? Give this answers we will continue with the rest

@poster, the fact that you are having sleepless nights and having to debate over choosing one out of 2 men in your life suggests that neither are really up to the task. You have doubts about both of them and marriage is hard enough without entering into it with doubts and concerns.

If you were my kid sister, I will say dump both or wait a little longer to see how it pans out before rushing into marriage with either of them.

I do understand that at your age pressure will be mounting up from all angles to just pick one and settle down but please don't do it until you are 100% sure and have a peace & conviction in your spirit of the one you are about to choose.

P.s If I were forced to choose between the 2 men , based on what you have said, I will go for number 1 a guy you know inside out; including his strength's & weaknesses etc. I have nothing against number 2 but trust me on this, a phone & on-line relationship is no where near the real thing.

What is he like in the morning, is he tidy, does he have bad habits, where does he press the toothpaste, does he leave the toilet seat up or down, does he snore etc etc

Though this sounds funny, finding all this out on the wedding night may be the start of many problems to come & im sure there will be some things that you do that he will only find out after the marriage.

Cheating led you to talking about a possible relationship with another guy while you were in a relationship. Whatever intention you had to have started the conversation with the second guy wasn't well. You cheated and that's my stand.

Girl u are just expending energy needlessly. First off this 'jand' guy is 'johnny just come' into your life he doesn't know u hasn't seen u, your gud sides n bad all he has going for him is dat he 'flows' wit u on phone. Come on girl u are 34 u can't be wasting your energy like dat. There is no solid ground here to be considering MARRIAGE on. If u want to start to build another relationship with Mr Jand den fine but MARRIAGE is a different ball game.

Second he is jobless u say and u want to hook urself to dat wen the one u have is trying hard already? As they say a bird in hand is worth two in the bush. The value of your Naija boi is IMHO worth more dan johnny-just-come.

If u want to give johnny-just-come a chance dats fyne but just know dat it'll be a mistake to consider MARRIAGE in JANUARY to someone u have no history with. Yeah u feel your heart fluttering but girl u've got the sense; all that glitters,  huh?!

As a counsellor, i get a lt of case like this.
I am going to ask you 2 questions
- If the New guy were to be poor would you fall in love with him.?

So what you have for the new guy is not love, it is lust. You may not know this. you are only selfish.

- If your old guy comes up with thesame story you are having will you be happy.

so judge yourself and put yourelf into his shoes.
You have not meet with this guy. What if he have a bad character that you dont know.

I have just counsell a case of a Christian sister whom is an actress. she dated her man for 1 yr and 2 months b4 discovering that he is a muslim.

So you may not know this guy odds know.
Just stick to your first man if he truly love you.

If i were in your shoes.Guy 1 straight.
No complaints.
In reality Guy 2 is perfect for now but trust after you closeup you will see the flaws cept you are after his money though.
All in all if you choose anybody else apart from Guy 1 you are just a PLAYER waiting for a better
guy than him to come along after all.Playing with his emotions, saying you love him when you don't.

This is wat to do. Tell him the truth. He may plead, beg, cajole but pls be firm n tell him if he persists in calling u to talk about it u'd not answer his calls any more.

have u even met Guy #2?

u can date #1 for years and it can still be a dissapointment.

I know a guy who dated a girl for 5 years. Knew her inside and out, she cheated on him and they are still dating. I am still trying to figure out why, because its obvious they are together because its "safe"

if #1 was so good, how come you and #2 became so close , that he wants to marry you?

think of that.
If  #1 was all that then there wouldnt be an opportuntity for #2 to enter your life.
