Only about 2 or 3 posts above are  helpfull to d poster.I wil advise u not 2 engage in any netwrk marketing! If u can afford a photocopy machine, photocopy handouts, textbooks and sell to fellow stdnts. Buy and resell stuffs like perfumes, clothings, textbooks and other stdnt's needs. Also u can help with typing your fellow stdnt's assignment, project, seminars and so on. If u lack water in your area,u can get a tank and resell water as a water vendor. These and more i did in sch and it helped me alot. Wish u all the best.

As for me my little advice is that you look for a problem
around your environment in Ife, I mean problem people are
passing through.

You can provide solution to the problem and charge affordable
but profitable price. However, if the problem is not area you can
personally solve, then interview expert or make research on the
internet for it.

In another development you can easily join this online
forum and lean more about being an entrepreneur, people
are there to help without charging you a dime. The forum is
www.facesuccess.com

It is just a matter of time, you will get there!

The best advice is to read and graduate quickly from your institution.

Offer tution/coaching to younger students in any subject you feel comfortable and at any level below your present level!!

You can always try starting a laundry service--collect clothes and deliver them washed and ironed. As long as you are cheaper than any local service you are bound to get customers.

Start a hand down book service---where students sell their used books to you and you sell em on to others.  You make a very small commission to arrange this deal and you are sure to succeed if you are not greedy.

Offer to clean other lazy students rooms or digs for a price. You will find a lot of filthy rich spoilt brats willing to use your services. I know of a chap who used to do this till he graduated and bbecamea lecturer in the university. He then used to lecture some of the same lazy brats since they were professional  students!!

@poster.
Since you are in a university environment, if you are good at marketing, post bills in your hostel, the faculties
and everywhere that its allowed. you should also talk to fellow students.
Offer to help them get cell phones (used, refurbished or new) any brand.
Offer to help them find books that are either scarce, or expensive (fairly used or new)
New or used laptops, digital cameras, projectors etc, etc
All they need to do is pay 20% deposit on the cost (40% if item is more than N10,000; this enable you
ascertain they are really serious about buying
I am based in the US & I can buy whatever is needed & send it to you. Guaranteed delivery within 7-10 days.
You can then deliver the merchandise to the buyer, pocket your profit usually in the range of N500 - N1,000
The key to the success is honesty on your part. Don't misrepresent what you are doing. Don't pocket more than your profit
Don't get greedy & Do NOT DOUBLECROSS YOUR OVERSEAS PARTNER as he is the one who will provide cash for the business
as well as ensure that items needed are bought & shipped to you in a timely manner.
This is the exact same model I use with my son & he has gone from always whinning about lack of money to offering
to loan me money when I am a little short in Nigeria.

Even if you don't take up my offer good luck in your endeavour. You are on the right track.
