If "Benson" is 15 years old then I am "jlo". Even Stevie Wonder knows he ain't 15 years old.  Huh Huh

It is really sad but (statistically) true that we are well in the top list for fraud, just behind Pakistan. Whether we like it or not, we are there. Even if we seek to argue that what of the other countries, white collar ,not reported or in the statistic etc, The fact of the matter is "na who dem catch be BARAWO". Perhaps we ought to cover our tracks better.

But back to "Benson", Uncle London-common you can come up with a more believable name, and to top it off, the Oscar nomination for the most cringeworthy moment, (drum roll pls), he kneels down, begs and brings out the toothbrush, I wanted to scream, cry, laugh all in one but I just cried and felt sorry for him. Sad Sad Sad

Bet he is somewhere in the UK now enjoying himself, "unaccompanied minor in a strange land" Lips sealed Lips sealed Lips sealed

"lagos Nigeria, a city famous worldwide for fraud"

Wonder why the Nigerian High Commission hasn't asked them to stop tagging Lagos as such and why Madam Rebranding hasn't said something; it never ceases to annoy me. I

've written to the Nig High Commission in London several times in the past after seeing TV programmes giving a negative impression of Nigeria and Nigerians but they've never acknowledged or addressed the points raised so stopped contacting them.

Don't mind the crook jare. I watched that programme with my 6 years old nephew and soon as the dude claimed to be 15, my nephew burst in laughter. When I asked what was cracking him up,he immediately replied saying 'He is not 15'.

Cos 15 makes him a child in the UK, not an adult.
That was probably what saved his ass from being deported immediately. . . . .

I don't know why but I find it hard to believe that him lying actually saved him. Heck, even my nephew knew he was lying through his teeth. I'm also pretty sure they would have dealt with other immigrants using similar tactics. Let's be honest, those immigration offficers are no mugs and can tell when peeps are telling porkies.

The lies helped him get into the country. . . . .

Firstly, he was on camera.
Then he claimed to be 15 and that he would be killed if he's sent back to Lagos.

What if he is saying the truth?
Those immigration officers could lose their jobs if those child right organisations see such on tape. They will take it up.

The fact of the matter is that the dude ain't 15. I know that, you know that, chika knows that and the immigration officers most definitely knows that too.

As I said earlier in my post, they would have dealt with similar cases and as we all know it's the same tricks all of em' africans use over and over again Grin Grin. They can't be bothered to think outside the box or make up reasonable stories. If they truly wanted to deport him, they woulda done without anyone batting an eyelid.
