Akata African or Akata American
« on: December 23, 2006, 07:17 AM »

I like the name. It keeps the same acronyms: African American, Akata American.

I like it.

Akata Action.
Akata Music across the Globe.

Akata's the richest and most powerful Africans.

Is Akata actually so bad?

It's Ebonical and sounds beautiful.

Don't act like I am crazy. African Americans love to Africanize things.

Akata African
Akata American
African Akata
American Akata

Sound Beautiful to me.

And AA can keep referring to us, anyway we take our new name.

We are still AA.

Just more choices now.

Before we had

AfroAmerican
African American

Now we can have

African Akata
Akata American
Akata African
AfroAmerica
African American

I like the idea.

And it comes from our old dear relatives in Nigeria.

Nobody can claim that Akata is not African.

Who cares what it means? Ask 3 Nigerians what it means and you get 9 answers.

They don't have any consensus on what it means.

We just say it is African for people who are survivored in the whiteman's land.

Donzman,

How does one deal with someone who believes getting someone to let you get away with criminal acts, is true power. Yet actually being the second most powerful person in the world because it only involves official acts, is nothing?

LOL SMILE

In the end Obasanjo, will find himself in jail like Charles Taylor and Saddem Hussein. Americans collect the info as their flunkies steal and get rich, then they only bring it when it is convenient and use it as an excuse to take over the country or put the leader in jail.

Till OBJ goes to jail, he remains powerful.

What are you talking about?, You think Condoleeza Rice is powerful?, Are you kidding?, She's as powerful as my testicles, a freaking puppet!Where do you imagine Condoleeza Rice is in the grand scheme of things in America?, G.W. Bush, Karl Rove run the country, Condi is just a puppet just like Donald Rumsfeld. See, I don't see messengers as powerful.

Oh that is what power is all about.

AA's are not powerful, you only take what the white man lets you have in America and rejoice at it.

What's next?, Obama?, His only claim to fame is that he's half Kenyan and half White.

I am always surprised by the number of idiots out there, who think someone gets to the political top by having their own agenda and not following orders.  Cheesy

Yes, that is what African Americans are known for, being rejoiceful over the white man and what he gives us.

Have I entered the twillight zone?

It is one thing to use another person to get to the political top but it is another thing to be used by people at the top to remain on top of things. Do you see the difference? One is smart while the other is nothing but a tool. You already know which is which by now.  Grin

Mamaput,

Actually Jayz is worth a few more million than Pdiddy. Their both worth well over a quarter of a billion dollars.

But it you want to talk real power. The former owner of BET, a Billionaire, just bought into the Carlyle group.

The Carlyle group is the group that President Bush and his dad the former President Bush belong to that involves oil and the saudi's.

It's the oil elites that control middle eastern oil.

But keep that on the downlow. It's kind of embarrassing to me that we African Americans now belong to the top elite groups of the world, that presidents are picked from and such.

The fact that most of AA's richest are either sportsmen or people in the entertainment industry tells u something.

Oprah and the BET founder are exceptions but the later is alleged to no longer  be a billionaire since he lost half of his wealth in a divorce settlement

Oprah seems to be the only black billionaire. That is if u don't count Nigerian leaders like Babangida

You have guys like Sani Abacha, Ibrahim Babangida whose wealth can't really be tracked. Mobutu Seseko of DCR and co., those guys are easily billionaires. What about Papa Doc and co. from Haiti?

4play, I'm talking about the one that opened up a fund of about 5 million dollars for any African leader adjudged to be good or something. It's probably the guy with the Arab ancestry.

Igbo's are called ''Ajeokuta Mamomi'' [ie people that eats stone without drinking water]
Yoruba's are called  ''Ndi Ofenmanu'' [ie people that eats oily soup]

and African Americans are called ''Awon Akata or '''Ndi Akata'', It think this is a way Nigerians show they care, for some one to coin out a name for you, the person must have been doing a lot of thinking about you, but the Irony here is that non of these things are serious, at least from my own point of view Smiley.
