vs Arsenal go into this tie on the heels of a 6-2 home victory over Blackburn rovers, and the international break. With the players back (with no injuries, save for Eduardo), AW is most likely going to field the same squad that took blackburn rovers to the cleaners, so the red and white army looks set to continue their impressive run against birminham city (p 10,W6,D3,L1). the red and white army do not have any suspended player. Birminham city visit the emirates on the heels of a 2-1 loss to Burnley, and face the worst opposition possible having picked just 2 points in 5 visits to both highbury and the emirates, conceding 7 goals and scoring only 1. it'll be an home coming of some sort for Sebastian Larsson who happens to be a product of the academy. any predictions?

I doubt the match will be a walk-over as expected in so many quarters. The last time Birm visited Emirate,it was supposed to be a walk in the park too and we came off the match with a point. This int'l break is/will be a major factor in this game.I pray we win by any goal margin possible.

mark lawrenson says: Birmingham cannot score on the road - mind you, they struggle to score at home too, and I don't think the takeover will have any effect on them until they can buy new players.
The fans don't much like their one-up-front policy - when good teams do this it becomes 4-3-3 when they've got the ball, but Birmingham struggle a bit to do this.
Arsenal have been breaking teams down well at home this season and I don't think they'll have a problem here.
Verdict: 3-0 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/8308856.stm

I see us winning. In as much i wont want to get all high horsed about it, but it will be shameful and says a lot about our expectations for our club and what we think of ourselves if Birmingham is coming and we are not thinking of an outright win. Im not promoting complacency mind you i'm only promoting confidence, belief and some intimidation of the opponent already. Fcuksakes even Man-U were apprehensive when the boys came to town. Too bad we lost that one, but Birmingham should shking in them boots when they get off their bus.

The lads should definitely go into these believing they can win it, Parking the bus is no longer as succesful as it once was against this team as there are too many avenues to score goals by this team. I expect nothing less than 2-0. RVP to turn up again and I'm backin Diaby to score here. By the way, good job Tayo. you repped the gunners well as the Mans are still struggling to put up theirs.

Slimshay,
which mancs were apprehensive of your coming to town, is it the blue mancs or the red mancs. They both thumped your team. Your team is easier to beat when on a roll. You will find it hard to beat Birmingham. A 2-1 win for u though.

Bad belly people will be put to shame as my Young boys will confidently walk away with the usual three point win over Birmingham. As gunners we will shoot as many goals as the referee would permit. My verdict: ARSENAL 4 BIRMINGHAM 0 go arsenal go! show them real soccer,
