Can anyone tell me how to convert a corel draw file (.cdr format) to .jpg format without having to install corel draw? Thanks!

well if you don't intend editing the converted file then jpeg is a good option but if you intend to edit the file you should convert to png. i don't think fireworks can do it unless the cdr file isn't compressed(am not sure about this)

i don't think that is possible. u've to open the file first with coreldraw b4 you can export it in jpeg format.

I tried many progs recently but none of them could convert my cdr file. I was going to download trial CorelDRAW software from corel.com but found http://cdr.altesign.com which converted file for me. However it's not an automatic service, but manual conversion. |

Why would i not simply open my .cdr file with the appropriate corel draw version that was used to create it and then export to a any format i want?

I use www.filespazz.com. It pretty cool website. you can upload the and save in different formats. And it all free. you get the file e-mail to you within 5 minutes. Its the only sites that mess with coreldraw converisons. that you i have to download any software i don't need.  |
