An 18-year-old robbery suspect, who has been leading older men in his gang, Abdullahi Ibrahim a.k.a. Snake, says it’s God’s favour that smiled on him to be able to lead other members of the robbery gang.
Answering a question from P.M News on how he was able to lead the members of his gang older than him, Ibrahim replied, “It’s God’s favour.”
He was arrested and paraded at the Kaduna State Police Command Headquarters by the State Commissioner of Police, Tambari, Yabo Mohammed.
The police commissioner disclosed that after his arrest three months ago, Ibrahim, leader of four separate robbery gangs has given valuable information that led to the arrest of other 14 members of the four gangs he had led in the state.
Ibrahim confessed that he joined robbery ‘business’ when Abdul, a resident of Rigasa area, Kaduna, introduced him to smoking hemp and he later graduated into gang leader.
He said, Abdul his former boss is now at large. Ibrahim attributed his early rise in the robbery gang to his diabolical power to predict whether a robbery operation will succeed or not.
For every successful operation carried out by any of the four gangs he led, Ibrahim told P.M.News that he gets 10 per cent from the deal.
