TayoD when would you learn some sence, why dont you listen to the likes of bawomolo and morpheus24 it would be to you greatest advantage beyond your wildest dreams.
Your understanding of sense is to listen to other people and not use your own brain? Please spare me such 'learning'.  Is that what you were taught in school?

Instead of always trying to ram in your baseless, non-coherent arguments with insults. And on top of it you would say you are thinking out of the box.
I reserve the right to return insults with insults. But of course, you reserve the right to continue to misinform people on nairaland.  I revealed your folly earlier showing how you jumped into this argument with blatant disregard for facts.  Now you are back here to continue doing what you know to do best - misinform.

At least I ma thinking.  I wish you'll do same.

i don't think it is fair for the judge to make that kind of decision supposing all judges takes that kind of decision that means there will be no mixed marriages?i don't think he is in the best position to decide if mixed race children are accepted in the society or not.it is the decision of the couples at-least they are adult and they know what is suitable for them so he is a racist.

On that line you stated your whole problem, but the bigger problem you now have is that you dont know that is your problem, and that is the biggest of all problems.

TayoD if you think jumping into every conversation to express your blind views is in your words "using your own brain", am sorry to say this, but your brain is failing you.

it's sad that some black folks are actually justifying this.

there are no place for such biases in today's society.

Abegi!!! Make person hear word. "some black folks" indeed. Can we please cut the bull!!

Ever tuned to BET to see how black men and women are openly being urged to stick to marrying folks of their own color and not the other? Even a lot of black movies seem to follow that theme and you are here speaking as if BLACKS do not do the same thing whenever they can, and we NEVER really CRY racism then, why? Mostly because the same black folks who do it have white friends. Now you sit here telling us SOME BLACK FOLKS are actually justifying what you earlier stated society itself is not even very open to.

This ain't about justifying crap but simply stating the man has a right to his own opinion and since he is NOT HARMING anyone,OR breaking the LAW which he works for, he ought to be respected, just as we respect those on BET and everywhere else when they make similar assertions.

This is why I said earlier that it is not just about reading what others write, but using your head to think and cosider how it should be applied.  If you had used your thinking faculty, you would have considered it best to avoid contributing to my exchange with pres-elect considering that you lack all the information necessary to make an informed decision.

My first contribution to this topic was to ask a question. Pres-elect responded in a typical manner by calling me a "sick puppy."  To think that you will add to that discourse by ignoring who first started the name-calling when I rightly responded in kind only goes to show that you are always on the wrong side of the fact.

Learn from what Einstein said and always shut your mouth when you are ill-informed.

lmao don't tell me you think BET is the voice of black America.  that channel is for entertainment and not to be taken seriously.

according to the governor of his state, he is breaking the law.

he isn't just stating an opinion, he is enforcing his opinion from a position of power.  This man has crossed the line.  BET is a clown station by the way.  All that black love talk is rubbish. love can be found anywhere.

And where exactly in my post there did you get the “BET is the voice of black America” idea? It should be taken seriously considering it has millions and millions of our youths as viewers.

I love the move to downplay the influence BET has on millions in past and possibly to date, but it ain’t gonna work considering the last elections alone prove you wrong. BET is a black powerhouse. Most of Obama’s votes from the black community came from BET in some way.

His governor claims he broke a law? Which one? One of the laws against RACISM in the south? Huh

i'm really wondering when i called kobojunkie a sick puppy Undecided . . . ok, just realised he never made the accusation. sorry for the error
 . . . . . .or any other person for that matter.

this ''sick puppy'' statement was actually an open one with no names attached. the only thing i attached to it was 'satisfactory delusion' . . .

I'm one to believe that when you're occupying a public position, your personal opinion becomes second to what the law stipulates.
I'm not saying the judge is racist but if the judge has personal issues with marrying people in the court of law - one of his duties as a judge - why does he still have the job?

Talk about satisfactory delusion. You responded directly to my analogy and while refering to "some dude" as "sick puppies".  Everyone who can think understand that you were refering to me.  Instead of owning what you said and show some form of courage and strength, you decided to dance around and bask in your delusion.

I have always excused your rants and abuses several times, but I will do so no more. If you want a debate and debate from the position of issues, you will find me a pleasant companion. If you choose not to, believe me, I am equal to the task.

Wow!! I didn't know people had issues with mixed marriages/kids from mixed races, and not just black or just white people.
Wonders shall never end. Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
The guy is racist towards mixed race people, it is clear.
He should be sent to prison or something. KMT!!

Who told him mixed race kids are not accepted by their different race families? What a load of bull!!  Huh Huh
How many mixed race kids have said their white or their black extended family members do not accept them? Or that they are bullied for being black and white. I support mixed marriages, as it helps eradicate racism, and the kids are usually always good looking. Grin Grin Grin

The whole bathroom ish he mentioned clearly shows he is racist! Like anyone in their right sense would mention such crap. Shocked Shocked Shocked

He should be sacked or something. Undecided

Mixed race people rock. He can go and eat shit for all I care. Wink Wink Wink Wink

,
Regarding gay marriages, u can transfer the couple to someone else if it is against your religious beliefs. But to then add stuff like "the children they will adopt in future will turn gay, and for that I wont marry them" is just ridiculous.

So yeah, this JP is so wrong in his reason for not marrying mixed couples.

Let us not push to the side a REAL PROBLEM THAT EXISTS to date because of our issues with this man. There happens to be a problem in our society TO DATE when it comes to accepting children from MIXED families. I happen to know of TWO particular adults who struggled as children and even to date with acceptance from both sides.

The one was NEVER really accepted by those on the black side of his family, the other was never really accepted by the white side. It was hard on them considering these two (who happen to be from different families and areas) still struggle with the rejection they had to deal with.

I don’t care of your opinion or take on this man’s view at all. Just DO NOT PRETEND there is no such problem.

It's not bout me pretending or what not. I know quite a number of mixed race kids, and such problem does not exist in their families/lives.
What's the likelihood of such thing happening, seriously? ? ? Undecided Undecided Undecided

i know of thousands of nigerians, born in america, who have been discriminated against in america. the african americans dont accept them, the nigerians in nigeria dont accept them, even nigerians in america who were born in nigeria feel different from them,
perhaps this judge and his cronies would like to stop further ''production'' of american born nigerians by rejecting marriages between nigerians in america.

Mixed marriages should be ban. There is punishment for black people who try to "lighten" the Black Nation. Mother Nature has been reducing the sperm count of white men now for the last 100 years. See the statistics and realise that the rate of reduction has increased over the past few years, and will continue to increase until they can no longer procreate. That's why those who know are studying cloning. On the female side the fertility of white women is decreasing at a rapid rate. They have to use more and more drugs to conceive. This is true also for light-skinned Black men and women. Any Black person who, after being exposed to the facts, continues to try and "lighten" our people is against the Black Nation. Mother Nature has zero tolerance for stupidity. The consequence of such foolishness is extinction.
