Trust me on this one - I am an expert. All Nigerian girls are beautiful. I just love naija girls (I have known girls from all over the world). Naija girls all have their different attributes. Maybe the mosy beautiful ever will be one that has all the different naija blood.

The first ever Miss Nigeria was yoruba (and yoruba's have probably produced more Miss Nigeria than any other ethnic group) but, over the years, beauty queens have been drawn from most parts of the country. For me, however, if she is a naija girl, I will probably love her - not just the face but the mannerism also.

Thanks for all your input. For some people who asked why I posted this kind of topic, I thought this is a discussion forum where we can have healthy debates and I was just looking for something we can debate on. Well, if you feel this is not good, I tender my apologies to all of you.

It happens to most people.. Grin Grin Grin Grin

Are you saying Nigerian girls that have lived abroad are the cuter ones? Or are you saying African American girls(who are technically from AFRICA... and some from nigeria)... Are the cuter ones?

Are u also saying the weather in nigeria is what makes nigerian girls in Nigeria 'ugly'?

Which one are u saying??

Nigerian girls "born in the US" and african americans girls living in the US are the same as far as beauty goes. Nigerians that grew up in nigeria and then came to the US, not all of them eventualy change the way they look but most does change.
Nigerians living in nigeria are not as beautiful as the ones here in the US. This does not mean u will not find exceptions but i am looking at this from an average woman perspective. Yes nigerian weather is one of the issues...Poverty can be another reason if u have been to villages and see how the ladies look like. US is very diffrent due to abondance food, law, order, decency and weather. This is my point..we can't shy away from it...

Cheesy, i have to comment on what Larger said. i lived in Nigeria for 13 years before i came to the states. at first i moved to florida and the weather wasn't that much different. well now i live in a much colder region but i'm used to it. my skin tends to not like the summer so much because it's so hot and the humidity just makes my skin break out like hell. during the winter my skin tends to be much clearer and smoother. one day i was telling my friend that i couldn't wait for the snow to come just so i can stop breaking out and she was like what kind of Nigerian are you to be praying for snow. this made me really think, i wonder how my skin would react when i go back to Nigeria if it hates the summer here so much.  Roll Eyes so i understand the point that larger is saying about the difference in skin condition. i mean he thinks girls in the US are much beautiful then that's him. Not everyone is blessed with smooth skin though. i know some people who never get a pimple a day in their life and some people who struggle with it for as long as i've known them. Also skin of color tends to scar easily when it gets pimples so that's why the skin conditions are much more noticeable in black people.

Another importand oberservation.Another reason why u can't compare a nigerian outlook with the ones in the states is the shape of head.if u see an african head especially the men..u willl recognise this person is from africa even before he opens his mouth. I figured the reason why this bald heads are common in african men is due to birth issue. Maybe after birth..our heads are not moulded like they do kids here in the US. Maybe i am wrong but i have to say my opinion. Maybe not many hospitals in nigeria care about such an issue during antenental and prenatal care

Our ladies also have this head but theirs are covered either with wigs or they tend to weave it or put some ..u know em all to make it longer and cover the shape. ..we need people with degree in beauty.

I think beauty should be defined as  the re-design of human facials and if possible anotomical make-ups to appear more presentable to the eyes of the observer. Nature has done this already in everyone but unfortunatley..not many girls on earth are favored by nature..."natural beauty" is very rare which is why every lady wants to look more appealing so that men will talk to them. I asked few of my friend and they told me that what makes them attracted to opposite sex is not really the makes ups. ......But anyways..this is not for everyone..having access to cosmetics is a good start but that is not enough...models go to model schools..we need education if we need to sky rise in beauty.

for examples, corporate guys i work with ..we all dress in our suits to work etc..I wear the same expensive clothes in nigeria without even understanding the implication of what i am wearing. I don't even know the type of clothes to wear at diffrent occasions but having lives here and interacted with diffrent people. I am kind of more competent and knowlegebale when it comes to dressing,,abeg no mind my typoes..

larger 20, i don't agree w/ most of your posts saying africans are ugly.

if you want a child to be fine, from birth give him/her some good food w/ tons of nutrients and what not and take care of him/ her VERY WELL.. your baby will be fine  Kiss  Kiss well, he/she will also get some genes from you so . . you have to be fine too . .

a starved kid won't turn out fine. but a healthy kid will.

I think this Larger_20 guy has put himself in trouble by trying to compare Nigerian ladies with their AfroAmerican peers. He deserves whatever u ladies may eventually met out to him.

Larger_20, do not forget queens like our dearest Hot-Angel, SnazzyDawn, Omotola Jolade, Agbani Darego, Omowumi(current Miss nigeria and Tourism international), Rita Dominic, Genevieve, Bisi Obe and so on are from Nigeria.

Boy, stop running on a false analogy here.

i love Nigerian ladies for their high degree of intelligence, smartness, courage and good manerism.
