omo, you were also posting a judgmental post on the look of us yorubas females, it still does not exclude you from the gay "groups".

You're not making logical sense my darling. I'm a male, a heterosexual male at that, and thus it's a very natural thing that I would make judgment on the looks of a female or females. So what are you talking about? But based on that response I see well that you're a female and thus it's all good now. Now on the topic; I personally am not all that attracted to the looks of your average Yoruba women, though I am only one person who just so happens to share the  opinion in this regard with many others-- though our words are not stamped in gold, as they say. They are only personal opinions.

What, you're talking about this chick?  Cheesy Yeah I didn't even observe the names and she was not listed as a SW'er and I wasn't looking at names just the locations the were representing. Honest mistake, but anyway--- she's above average for a Yoruba girl as far as what I've observed, yet still in comparison to most Eastern ethnic girls-- she only average, and that's most likely do the to her mother being an Easterner. Though I can see well now the bit of Yoruba in her around the cheeks structure.

Cheesy You're funny. Nice try, but we all know that it's the Yoruba girls who are known for being the dirty ones--- in more ways than the obvious. Short? NOT!! Well, I'll simply say that Eastern girls are more proportionally womenly built. Yoruba women are often built like men.  Grin No lie. Humm, and lets not even go into ugliness and head size, the truth in this regard can get ugly in and of itself.  Cheesy

Um Dalapo's mom isnt an "Easterner". Both parents are Yoruba. Seriously just stop. Having a so called called Igbo "fiance", the same one that can't even speak her language doesnt make you a Nigerian expert

Wrong, she's mentioned that her mother's family is from an eastern state; I forgot which one though. You can just look at her and tell that she's not fully Yoruba. Even a blind Fool can see that. By the way, I have an Igbo-American WIFE--- born and raised here in the US, and she and I both most likely know more about Nigeria than you despite that fact. Though beyond that, you should know that one does not need to know a language in order to recognize beauty and ugliness.  Grin

Hmm, you know, just because you saw some Yoruba's looking similar does not mean they are all like that, same goes for Ibo's, Hausas etc plus if a Yoruba looks different to what you yourself seem to consider their normal features, it doesn't neccassarily mean they're mixed with another tribe Smiley

Different tribes can be diverse Smiley  Wink

Yeah, you are obviously an Igbo, though you may also obviously pass as an ethnic of most other South Eastern ethnic groups who share very compatible Igbo features.

I see Hero's point. Yorubas don't naturally have light eyes. Calabar and some Igbos do. Either she bought contacts or intertribal breeding happened in her bloodline.

a guy I grew up with has light/amber eyes and he's fully Yoruba.

He was the general heart throb back then. They call them Era in western Nigeria.

This yadayada tribe is ugly while yadayada tribe is beautiful, is getting too ridiculous, for real.

Hero has been bashing this topic and beating this horse for lord knows how long now.  he needs someone to buy him a ticket to central Yorubaland and dump him there while confiscating his passport for at least three months. That will give him time to observe people, since he likes doing that. By the time he meets hinterland Yorubas who look totally different from all these fantasies of his, he'll see the light. Undecided

wonderful way to welcome the dolt to YorubaLand

It's my word against yours. I've met some of her people before, and this is how I know that part of her is Eastern. Plus, it's so obviously seen in her facial structure--- there's no hiding it. She associates as being Yoruba simply because of the tradition of one associating as that in which your father is and her father is Yoruba, though I was informed of her via her eastern side, and it was thus that in which I addressed her as do to that.

Her eye shape is a dead ringer of Eastern descent. Those are contacts she's wearing, though her eye shape is undoubtedly eastern descended. I challenge any one to find me picture of a Yoruba with eyes structured like hers.

hero, you must be high on something, for real.

I still think you need to be dumped in central Yorubaland  a la David Livingstone, and left there for a minimum of three months without your passport and no means of getting to the embassy.

You will see the light, I assure you.

Eye shape? Please go and do your research on eye shape.

Where did Laura Bush get her own eye shape from?

Hero,

Where in Nigeria do you think this woman (below) is from ?

She's mostly likely from the South-South, like the Edo, Delta stat region. Then again she has really high check bones and implanted eye sockets, so she may also be of some Western ethnic descent. Though I doubt that she's Eastern.

Cheesy Well she has very mixed features, so she's definitely not purely of any one ethnic group though I'd have to say that she's either of Eastern descent due to her nose, eye and lip structure, though her cheek bone structure reads South-South and or western. But I think she definitely most likely Eastern, in regard to that nose and eyes she has.

Well Hero,

Both Women are 100 % yorubas !! No mixture whatsoever.

I was going to say before I posted the pictures that you really don't know what the hell you are talking about,
but I figure it'll be better if I proved it.

Again, the ladies are 100 % yorubas.

The first lady is Senator Gbemisola Saraki-Fowora.

Well as for the first women. I've mentioned that she may be Yoruba and or mixed with it do to her inset eye sockets and very high cheek bones, and or that she may of been from the South-South were many of the people generally share a very strong comparable look to the Westerners just as many also share a very comparable look to the Easterners.
