Ijebuman, The tribe thing, I get get what you mean. It does sometimes seem like a derogatory statement. There is a definition I have found for it.

Am an artist and was once in a play where the director looked at the design of the set and said "hmm it could do with something a little more ethnic in it". To which I answered "Yes, a little tartan would look good up there" you should have seen the look on his face  when he realized that I was actually saying that Scott's so called clans clans were actually tribes. So even with all the definitions the the word tribe still conjures up images of Africans in there minds. Oh, ethnic too is now just another word for non white. But ethnology is the study of the ethos or particularities of a group. so we are all ethnic. L8A   

coming away from the girls alone is anyone out there that good that they can always tell what clan someone comes from just from looking at them. I have two friends that I'D like you to tell me if you can tell by their pics.

This telling d clan by looking is not so easy-o. I too think I can usually tell but it's sometimes only within a certain context. When I started traveling i found some of my assumptions were flawed

I must say that with all the talk about who is prettier and who is more ugly, I really thought there were more experts out there who could nail this one.   

Being able to tell someone's ethnic group is kind of a difficult thing to do. i know some of my friends were able to tell i was igbo the first time they looked at me. i asked them why and they said it's something about the shape of the face and the eyes. now some people think it's about complexion but i don't think so. i'm not so able to tell who is who just by looking at them anymore. sometimes i am able to tell someone from west africa or say sudan because of their really broad features but being able to tell where someone is from in Nigeria is a very hard task. i try not to stereotype people but it's difficult sometimes. we do it to people and they do it to us as well. 

edo girl are the most beautifull girls in nigeria, take it from a girl who mom is a igbo lady and is dad is edo man.
