hello nairalanders,
i was so surprised to receive 5 different calls in a day asking for some old school box phones that we do use with NITEL in those days of dial up. Is there anybody with information on what the phones are been needed for and how much they go for, i am just being curious to know what the rush is for,

@connecting,i think some1 have said it dt it's use for smuggling drugs cos these materials contain metal element which make it difficult for machine to detect d drugs kept inside it. if U wanna test it,put fone closely beside it U 'll observe dt d fone will loss d signal also dry-cell torch light 'll deem when bring closer but if this aint happen,then d material is fake

well by some sorta coincidence i met one of d 'dealers' today, he had 500k to deposit wit anyone who had d clock. The irony is tht majority of dem dnt kno what dey r used for, they just get it, deliver and get paid. For the phones and clocks they must be made in either italy or germany. To test the clock u will have to open d back and place a torch light beam on d 3 metal plates behind. If its for real the torch will deem or go off.
I'm waiting to see what all this is about cuz it beats my comprehension. Good enough i have neither of these antiques so i can only observe wit rest of mind.
