Crutites across the nation please be accordingly advised. The suspended nationwide strike by ASUU has smoothly changed batons with that of the CRUTECH chapter. On wednesday, the 14th of October 2009, the Cross River University of Technology chapters of ASUU, SSANU, and NASU embarked on an indefinite strike to protest the non-payment of their CUAS entitlements. Despite the State Govt's heavy investments in Tourism, next to nothing has been done in the education sector. Consequently, students and parents are advised not to associate the recent ASUU suspended strike with the need to return to campus. Indeed, for us, the strike just got started!
