Congolese champions T.P. Mazembe sealed a place at the final of the CAF/Orange Champions League despite a 0-2 loss to Sudanese giants Al-Hilal on Sunday.
The result ensured T.P. Mazembe reached the final of the premier continental club championship as they edged through 5-4 on aggregate after claiming a 5-2 victory from the first leg played in Omdurman a fortnight ago.
The Sudanese giants started off on a bright note before first half strikes from former Dynamos striker Edward Sadomba sealed victory but was enough to land a place at the grand finale of the prestigious club competition.
Sadomba, who featured for Zimbabwean outfit, Dynamos FC two seasons ago in the continental club championship broke the deadlock on 26 minutes before completing his brace three minutes past the half hour mark.
The Sudanese giants needed a three goal victory to oust the two-time African champions to reach the last two but the Congolese outfit their first defeat of the campaign failed in their quest for third goal which could have landed them a place at the grand finale.
By the victory, T.P. Mazembe will face Heartland FC in the final of the CAF/Orange Champions League title. The first leg is slated for the Nigerian city of Owerri on October 31 and the second leg fixed for Lubumbashi two weeks later.

Heartland will definitely win the cup just as Enyimba did. All they need do is to score a lot of goals in the first leg so that the return leg will be a mere formality.
