there is fire on the mountain.after sweating to get the access code,i have not been able to log on to the specified site.anyone who has seen his/her admission statua should please help me.holla me on 08024652294.your txts will be hugely appreciated.as you help me,devil no go pour sandsand for your garri o, haba,you no shout AMEN!!!!  thanks very much in anticipation of your replies.

 Huh I don't even know where to buy the access code. I'vetried many places in Ibadan and Lagos. Could anyone tell me anywhere I could get it in Ibadan or Lagos.

Hello baby, you can get the conrirmation orer number at zenith bank (access code) but  how to ceck it is difficult, i have spent #1600 i can't still check it, it keeps n telling me invalid or the pin has been used,  not to talk of the money i used in calling them and koblo my friend for information i hope this site is not useless as koblo said earlier

I also applied at UI  and i have chekd my application status although with much difficulty.I wasnt invited for the screening but i'll re apply into another course.wish u luck

hello,im a new member and also trying 2 get info on ui admission.i participated in d 1st batch interview but i havent seen any other info on their site.are we 2 buy another access code like d DE students or any alternative instructions,please if u have any useful info or are a student of uihelp me out

@poster,i had difficulty checking mine too,but there is a coloumn the access code given that u shld call some particular numbers if u encounter any difficulty logging in.
Maybe,u should call them,but is is not too late,

You are to check the way you checked with the old access. Go to the My portal website and click on addmission and then put your janb registeration number and your access code

UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS 2006/2007 SESSION
 
CANDIDATES ARE TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING;
 
In furtherance of the determination of their eligibility for admission, Clearance of the underlisted candidates will commence on 4 July – 24 July 2007.
2. Candidates should report at the Admissions Office to commence Clearance, after the filling of all forms downloaded from the University Web site http://www.ui.edu.ng/admissions).
At the point of Clearance, candidates will be required to present the following:
 
 
 
A Receipt of On-line payment of N5,000.00 (Admission Acceptance Fee)
 
B Original and photocopies of JAMB Notification of Result
 
C Original and photocopies of WASC/SSCE/GCE Certificate for       examination taken up to MAY/JUNE 2004.  Statement of Results ARE     NOT acceptable.
D Statement of Result will be acceptable in place of Certificate for     O’level/GCE/WASC examination taken after MAY/JUNE 2004 only.       Candidates should note that Nov/Dec 2006 WASC/GCE/NECO  results are not acceptable     
E Two reference letters on Letter-Heads from reputable persons e.g. Clergymen, Senior Public Officers, etc.
F Original and photocopies of birth certificate/sworn declaration of age. 
G 10 recent passport size photographs-showing frontal face view size (5.2cm             x 5.2 cm.)
H All relevant forms downloaded from the University website.           (http://www.ui.edu.ng/admissions)
 
4. A candidate who is successful and has been duly cleared will be eligible to collect   an Authority to Pay the schedule of fees.  No candidate should pay into      University Account without being authorized to do so, as no refund will be made.


5. The Fee Schedule is obtainable from the University website.  The fee chargeable is to be paid On-Line at the various designated banks:

Please note that students who have been asked to withdraw from this University or any other institutions are Not Eligible for clearance.  They are therefore     advised not to show up for the exercise at all.  Candidates who had already matriculated as students of this University are not eligible for fresh admission     (except as newly admitted Direct Entry candidates).  They are to note that the    penalty for double matriculation is expulsion when discovered.


7. Candidates should note that if at any stage it is discovered that credentials and records submitted at the point of clearance have some discrepancies they will be    disqualified automatically.
8. It is to be noted that faculties will not register students, except there is evidence of registration from the Medical Centre. Candidates are therefore advised to register at the Medical Centre on campus after clearance.
9. The deadline for registration will not be extended, therefore, a candidate who fails to show up at the stipulated time is deemed to have forfeited the opportunity of being cleared.


10.  Date of resumption for the 2006/2007 Session is 15 September 2007.

i actually checked my status n iwas chosen, but i still av a problem, on d page where my admission status was specified, i was told 2 print d admission letter, on clicking on print, a page was opened, on the page i didnt c my name, course or anything relating 2 my bio-data, buti was still told that ihad been offered admission n that i should bring d printed page along when comin 4 clearance, am i d only one this is happening to? fatimar n others , kindly put me through,

i don't know whats happening,they are saying something is wrong with the information i gave,for petes sake this thing starts on monday and they are still misbehaving.please has anyone been able to print the acceptance letter?

helllo all.so far so good the ui authority is yet to release the school fees for the comin session and am in ui presently and will definately let u know once it is out.but if you're a new student budjet around 15000 naira if u will not like to reside in the school hall and 25000 if u will stay in the hall i mean hostel.And if you're a returning student  budjet around say less than 6000 naira if u will not stay on campus and less than 16000 if u will stay on campus and in general sch fees + faculty and departmantal registration for a new student can't be more than 40k so wish u da best and the resumption date for new student is september 3 and september 10 for returnin student.

I don't think getting a bed space is that expensive, I hear its about 10,000 or thereabout or does the prices vary according to halls.

the money am calculatin is for both accomodation and sch fees and yes for the past 2 session accomodation has been 10000 per bed space and it is the same for all d halls of residence
