A close pal has reliably informed me that he recently obtained a U.S. visa(student), by writing and passing the TOEFL exam.Infact, he makes me realize they gave him a scholarship at PHD level, and that he is leaving early year. I found it hard to believe against the background that he just finished NYSC here. Is it possible to be taken for Phd in US. school after obtaining just a degree here in our NAIJA? How real are these Exams too? Can somebody help put light on this issues, THANKS
My guy, i will advice you to write the exam if you are trying to study abroad, especially us and canada, the school might wave it but the embassy require it, it really gives u an edge at the embassy,, good luck
