you obviously have never heard of ethics
there is an inherent danger in focusing on the bottom line over anything else
this is what led to the shake up in cadbury a few years back , the failures of enron, worldcom, etc
we spend years in school so we can avoid situations like this in the first place.
i wonder what all these ' it is not by force' noisemakers would say if it was their sister
Exactly! This thread has exposed why Nigeria may continue to be a nation run by the most unfortunate, foolish, stupid and useless pieces of shit humanity can muster. We Nigerians are the problem with Nigeria!

It's is not by force, she should stop crying, she wants to be superwoman r u for reall??? No wonder people like u are still saying her husbands house anno 2009 no wonder i see pregnant women selling purewater under the hot sun. It's because of people like u women don't have a say in Nigeria. And people like u blame the governement what a joke!!!!
it's alarming when a woman says this. wow "Hey Dad, what with all the female staff of Sky Bank do to PULL IN customers, how come so few of those women ever get pregnant ?"
"Well son, I reckon most Skye Bank customers tend to make early withdrawals." jakumo strikes again

Its her right to seek redress if she feels she has been wronged. Let the Courts judge the merit and demerits of her case. I advocate people should stop seeing the courts as a monster but as a place to seek redress, maybe then we will have more sanity from employers of labor

The major problem in the banking industry in Nigeria today is that the banking sector is the only industry that does not have a union that will assert and protect the rights of its workers. As a result, bank staffs usually suffer in silence. This lack of a union is a big problem which i think should be addressed as the banking sector has risen to prominence as major employers of labour. The fight against the injustice and evil banking practice that permeates the banking sector should start now and i applaud the lady suing for having the courage to do so. The problem with Nigeria is that we take a lot of shit. We have to really grow some balls!!!

the issue here is not far-fetched,banks recruit beautiful ladies to lure politicians, fraudsters, yahoo boys etc to open account with them which i believe the lady knew before being employed,,nigeria banks are just their to ruin the lives of these ladies,,if u really want to know what i mean, come to upper ghana street in maitama, abuja and check out the girls in this zenith bank,,they are all there to keep customers from always coming back.,nigeria banks are just like a hotel when it comes to luring customer with pretty ladies.

Am really really surprised at the response made by most ladies above. It simply shows that most ladies have lost their pride. Whether the article is straight or spiced, the truth remains that irresponsible branch managers/supervisors will always "recommend prostitution" to young female staff. I 've actually worked under a female BM who asked a male marketer to sleep with a rich widower as long as she is ready to bring deposit. Some of these female marketers have accepted the norm for fear of losing their jobs which in some cases an entire family might depend on it. these ladies go in decent and come out dented-so sad and painful.

I am sure most employee in Nigerian banks knows they are in the den of prostitution, but they cant say much, cos they needed the money, hope this kinda case will shed more light on it and maybe put a stop to it.
