Facebook is a facebook, while nairaland is a facelessbook.
On facebook, its love and peace. On Nairaland its a war of words.
Nairaland tries, but can really be annoying.
But obviously, I check my facebook more often than nairaland.

have you ever seen anyone with a bad comment on facebook? I think there's even a facebook etiquette- no bad comment no arguing lol the feel good factor people hide under where your comments are like but never disliked  Undecided and everything is a one liner on there-nobody criticise you some plastic world if you ask me not bad though - the feel good formula certainly work!

Ok, thanks puskin. Well, both are blog sites and they are for different reasons. I enjoy my freedom and privacy on Nairaland better. I can discuss issues without border because image is nothing on Nairaland while on Facebook it's all about pretending to be a cloned version of Brad Pitt or David Beckham.

some sites have to remain sane unless they decide not to.

I disagree but for compartmentalized reasons.
Facebook is a social network
Nairaland is a forum

the comparisons are baseless. it is like comparing apples to pineapples or dog-meat to crab-meat  Grin

I really love the faceless community nature of Nairaland. Once your identity is NOT compromised then u are free to attack your oppressors and attackers at least with 'the weapon of worded language' which most times is harmlessly KILLABLE!!
