My advice is that you invest part of this money in real estate or stock market. Then you
can map out something like 20% and start importation business. It is highly profitable if you what you are doing.
Don’t jump into anything with even 50% of the money until you have learned the rope.
You must take risk to succeed in life, but you have to take calculated risk.
I wish you all the best.

Are you serious or joking. There are lots of things you still have to tell us, As a financial consultant, Is the money yours or a loan, If it is a loan, how long can you hold such money, how much interest is payable on it, Is it a going concern type of business or one off?. These are necessary to determine the credit back period of whatever investment  to be recommended, you will also determine the nature of the business, it has to be a business you also have a control or interest. In six months time, there are businesses that will give you not less than 50% ROI

You doubt that ? O. K. Lets introduce you to CHARCOAL EXPORT.  Ordinary Gari trading can give you 50% ROI. Yam. Beans, palm oil, Kola nut etc can do the magic, but you need to be a village person or else get it done through other persons who will report to you on a daily basis.

my Guy,
i will ask you few questions here,
1) how did you made N4.5 m
I dont know what the answer is, but I must tell you here that N4.5m is not a small money, about 60% of Nigerians cannot boast of that money
I want to presume the following as the source of that cash
a) loan
b)life time hard earn fortune
c) biz
etc
what ever the answer is, you know the best, and if that money was earned from your former biz or struggle,  why dont you sitback and review that biz again
may be if you put in more effort and new strategy you will be happy.
on the other hand if that money is loan , my advice again is go and fix that money in a very good back and enjoy your monthly return.
i encourage you to go and read my post " A  MUST READ FOR ANYONE THAT WANTS TO INVEST HIS MONEY ANYWHERE"
be careful, of those telling you to send them a mail, invest in transportation and all of that,  by the time you send them mail, they will send you a fantastic proposal that greediness will mask your eyes and you will fall prea.  for those advicing you to go into transportation, that he has send the report to so many in this forum, Why is he not into the business, or he is now the healer that connot heal himself. my friend be careful. a word is enough for the wise.

Please be careful. I agree with Walestar. Fix that money in a good bank and then think about what to invest it in. That way you can get at least 50K on it monthly or 600K per annum. In any investment you are making make sure you have the time to monitor your investment and dont be in a hurry.

Etinvest, be careful with your money, and who you decide to meet up with on here!! It could cost you dear. My advice would be look into different business fields, find what's needed in your area, and make enquiries. Do your homework, and find out how much a given product / service is being offered for.

Once you narrow down your options, then you need to generate a business plan, and decide who your customers are likely to be. A profit and loss forecast is a good idea too, every new business will lose money in the first year of trading. You just have to make sure you can weather these losses, and that your profit will outweigh those initial losses. Why not look into attending a business seminar? These are run often, and are sometimes free, though others will charge for the privilege. Well worth the time and money though.

Whatever you decide, just be careful, and it would be wise to speak to a friend that is probably into what you intend to go into. Once you decide, it would also be prudent to contact a solicitor, depending on the line of business you go into. Best of luck though!

Guys, the OP is asking for ADVICE, I haven't seen anywhere where he asked for a business partner. Stop being greedy, if you have any advice to offer Etin, then by all means, post it here! It's beneficial to all that use the Business section, and that's what forums are all about. Stop using underhand tactics to try relieving this guy of his money!

Check out these guys asking the OP to contact them via Yahoo / Email / mobile - most of them are "new" posters, registered recently. Where did they come from? They registered on Nairaland, and by sheer coincidence, headed for the Business section, offering to "help" to Etim?

The mention of 5,4M N is like blood in the water to a shark - they can smell it miles off, LMAO.  Cheesy

^^^ Advice on an internet forum is given, based on the details a poster leaves.

It may be purely hypothetical, but it's not for posters to decide if the question raised by another member are true or not.

Your response is typical of one who has this insane urge to post, regardless of whether the said post makes any sense, or not.
