Please start a new thread and advertise your own car. To start a thread is very easy and free. This thread is devoted to discussions on my 2005 Honda Accord EX-L which is 2 years newer than yours. Also note that age is not the only difference between 05 and 03. A few observable difference is that 05 contains these options which are too advanced for 2003 models: - Dual zone airconditioner - this means driver can select temperature different from that the front passenger in the same car
- 8 airbags. this extends airbag safety all occupants of the car
- XM radio antenna. That fancy stub on the top of the Accord that makes it intimidate others
- All-red rear lights. unique to 05 model year only
All these options and features are conspicuously missing in your old 2003 Accord. |

All these options and features are conspicuously missing in your old 2003 Accord. I think you should have stopped at your advice that i should start a new thread, for your own good, because I can't see anything of value in your list of observable differences. of what value is the dual zone A/c when the car is not compartmentalised?, the 2003 model also have airbag safety for all occupants of the car and the all-red rear lights is obviously not a plus as the red and white rear light in 2003 has been adjudged as being more beautiful by honda herself and subsequent model after the 2005 come with the red and white lights. As you can see, the 03 and 05 models look exactly the same, safe for the colors of the rear light. What determines how old a car is is the usage. A 117,000miles car is definitely too old to be compared to a 73,000miles car. Your 2005 car was also used as a fleet car which implies that it was not well maintained. Anyway, my car has been sold, so no sweat. |

Congrats on selling your car. But the above statement is not entirely correct. The 2006 and 2007 models also came with all read rear lights. You may be referring to the 2008 model which has red and white lights.
