Aieromon, thanks for confirming I'm the only person getting 'not supported' message while trying to download some file types thru' wapbrowser with E! on my N95.
BTW, I'm not joking about the download speed o. Check the screenshots na. Honsule uses an N95 and his download speed is just slightly above 5 kb/s. Oredein download speed ain't impressive either. I think it has more to do with phone than location. U know u can't compare that your Nokia 5800 wt my N95 na. Orikenny uses one of those top range E-series phones too so that will probably explain his speed. BTW, E! edge in my area is very stable.

, Semid, your phone does not determine what kindA speed u get with EDGE, Rather it depends on your area, EDGE is EDGE, So what do u hv to say to me, I'm in abeokuta presently and I'm only hooked in here with zain's malfunctionin' EDGE, and glo's slow gprs, There's etisalat EDGE services only at some places in my block, Dunno wheneva I hit the rockin' streets, My etisalat shows a full network bar, But when I'm goin' bk 2 my hood the bar dissapears into the thin air, Maybe I'll inform etisalat, And to mk the sh!t all worse , '' No friggin' 3g '', I nid 2 get bk 2 lag,

Simply browse and get your download link with opera 4.2. Then open your opera 310 or 311, press 1 to go to the download manager, set your download location to E/ or its subfolders, tick the resume interrupted box, copy your download t.r.i.c.k together the file link, paste it on opera 3.11/310 and click download. Voila!
Na so I dey do. I browse with 4.2 and download with opera 206, Mopera, 310, 311 and thormobget. Many ways to kill a bird.
I'm particularly feeling downloading with 311 at the moment.

My nokia 7610 do not allow .jar app to save file so i use fget for my downloads. Wit Mtn speed is between 5kb/sec- 3kb/sec. Wit zain 2kb/sec -0.5kb/sec. Etisalat 2kb/sec. What is responsible for the speed? The phone, location or the ISP?

@Orikenny Thanks for your mail. I just applied the download settings of etibaba and I was wowed cos of the speed I got. I got a speed of 20kb/s. The only time I got this type of crazy speed was at zain's HQ in banana island, where I got a speed of 45kb/s. Thanks once again. Here is my screen shot.
