HBalogun Consulting is recruiting for a company interested in the provision of Shariah compliant financial services.
The company seeks to recruit a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, Abuja
Reports To: Division Head/ CEO

Job Summary
:
Responsible for the start-up and strategic overall management of company’s operation in the North in other to extend company’s reach, maximize results and strengthen the position of the organization, developing a robust customer base and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and regulators.

Responsibilities:

• Start up and grow the Abuja branch of the Company
• Manage branch operations in compliance with regulations
• Implement business strategy in collaboration with the Head office
• Generate new business in the North of Marketing ethnical financial services and products
• Offer high level private banking services
• Be an ambassador of the company in the North
• Build upon the reputation of the company for integrity in its operations
• Responsible for the company business in Abuja and its environs (Northern cities and states)
• Supervise entire Northern region

Qualification, Experience, Skills and Attributes:
• A good first degree from a reputable institution, Holders of an MBA or Masters Degree are preferred. Professional Qualification such as CFA/ICAN/ACCA would be an advantage
• Minimum (7) years experience in Financial Services, specifically in Marketing, Business Development and Investment Banking, two of which should have been spent in a management position.
• Negotiation, Persuasion and Presentation Skills, Investment Analysis Skills and Appraisal Techniques, Excellent Communication Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Confident Networking Skills, Good computer skills
• High level of proven integrity
• Ability to deliver results and meet targets,
• Ability to work with low level of supervision,
• Clear understanding of the capital market and financial industry
• Project Management skills
• People management and supervisory skills (to deliver results)

• Knowledge of Abuja and the Northern environment
• Extensive portfolio of quality personal contacts
• Willing to offer private banking services as clients’ homes outside office hours if necessary
• At ease with the Islamic/ Northern culture and manners
• Willing and able to travel widely and frequently

• Fluent in Hausa Language
