i think climate change is real and fraud depending on how you look at it.
normally, climate of an changes every 30-35 years. so as it is, the world is pretty much due for a climate change.
unfortunately climatic changes is occuring in what is called "global warming" (at least thats what Al Gore has been selling to us all these years). i'm just not buying their ideas on curbing global warming. imagine trying to sell electric cars to reduce the amount of carbon monoxide released to the atmosphere (ultimately causing depletion of the ozone layer) but get this, factories in Asia are releasing ten times the amount and other toxic green house gases to the biosphere. what are they doing about it?
IMO, climatic change is real and a fraud depending on how you look at it.

it's for real. what can be argued is whether the climate change is due to natural or man-made factors. normally, climate of an changes every 30-35 years. so as it is, the world is pretty much due for a climate change. i believe the time frame is larger than 35 years. |

Global warming and Climate change is very real.
Go to the North pole and you will see how things are changing.
Avg temperature of winter has gone so high in the last few day and the summer is getting warmer, people are dying and animals are dying.
So yeah, it is very real.

Another overbloated fraud to create new products for a new kind of economy.
Remember Y2K and all those doomsday scenarios?? How planes were going to fall from the sky because of a faulty clock in the computer system?
In my opinion, there might be a little warming here and there and we all do need to change our attitude to energy, but all the hype and noise is just a bunch of gibberish.

Did you hear of any single computer that crashed. In Nigeria where nobody cared about being Y2K compliant, there was no record of problems with computers anywhere. It was an unbelievably huge fraud that poured billions to the pockets of American IT firms. The noise about climate change is essential to creating a brand new economy tagged "The Green Economy". An economy that would ensure that the west remains on top while China is left in the 20th century. |

E wanna dey real die! Just take a look around. These days, one can't even tell the dry and rainy seasons. The sun is getting hotter, we have heavy rainfalls for days right in the middle of dry season e.t.c and una say climate change no dey real? Haba!

argued through the weekend over it
im currently on a project involving it.
@topic IT IS REAL
even though the earth is self-renewing, we are damaging it
at a speed that is frightening, and it wont renew fast enough
i cant imagine how this world would be 40yrs in the future *shivers*

that is the real question - I read state of fear by Micheal Crichton - while some have pooh poohed the book - i believe he makes a very good case for what can be called the influence of popular science/conventional wisdom - we have chosen to believe that global warming is man made and this has guided our actions come to think of it - if that is the case, what led to the end of the ice age? |
