I really feel like data modems and phone used as modems shuld be the same in speed. Instead of buying a data modem i feel i shud just add the money to buy a better phone with a 3G capability. I need to be enlighted before i get stuck in a boring internet service.
I know for sure phone used as a modem is faster connected with bluetooth than by usb.
Pls enlighten me.

Yes, the primary function of Data Modems is to transfer data @ max speed possible, while phone used as modem can perform the same function as well as make calls too, bt somehw the battery and possibly hardware life of yah fone reduces very drastically!

Yes dere is n it wil cost u abt #15k tho d sims must b configured by d operator 4 browsing( much beta if its a 3G sim). D modem i hv accepts all ntwks n evn hv space 4 memory card
