The bible told us that God made man in his image and Man was created above the angels.
What is it that makes us different and above the angels? Our ability to make decision on our own and the concept of choice jst as our creator. The Angels cant make decision on their own neither do they have any choice make but to do the will of God. Being the image of God, God has always played the role of a father and guidian to us, not a dictator to your choice or decisiong making.
We all know that where there is choice and decision making there is every tendency of an option.
God creating us as a free moral agents ( with sense of choice and decision making) and putting only the good tree in the garden of Eden automatically makes him a dictator to our Choice. That is why among all the good trees in the garden of Eden he put a bad one and made it clear the consequences of both tree. If the garden of Eden was jst made of all good trees then we automatically lost that sense and freedom of choice already created in us, coz you have no option but to chose the good jst like the Angels.
God never created robot , as many here reduce the knowledge of man that God created to that of a kid. He created a man with his own image, a man with an understanding, who can think and reason not a (dull baby), a man who can make a choice and decisions jst like him, a man with a responsibilities that is why he gave them a garden as big as garden of Eden. He put the totality of the whole garden under their control, including all other creature under their dominion.
Those who thinks man knew nothing and using their kids as an example, will you place the care and control of an estate to your kid knowing that he/she doesn't have such knowledge and the ability to control it? No matter how you love your kid will you hand over your car keys for him to drive knowing he has no such knowledge as to drive?
God Knew the quality, capacity and natural endowment deposited on the man he created. That is why he gave them a different territory other than his own, a kingdom of their own where they can be in control and be in domination of every other thing there.
Above all, he never denied them that freedom of choice already in them, but always played the role of a guide, a mentor and an adviser to them. He made it clear in (Duet. 30:15) " See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;". In verses 16 and 17 he explained the benefit and consequences of both, and commanded you to choose life with all the benefits and face consequences of death if you probably choose evil. The same role he play in the garden of Eden in the time of Adam he still plays today. He will never force you to chose the good not the bad but advice you on the right choice to make, is left for you to chose which way to go.
Even today he extended his role to man, becoz of his love for men. Even when we make the wrong choice and suppose to suffer and face the consequences of the wrong choice we made, he extends his mercy to us in restoring us back to the right part. Isn't that great and amazing? AMAZING GRACE
