After The Rain And Storm Comes Calm.

The greatest men in the history of mankind are those who strive to carry out their activities in peculiar ways, most times new and odd to the people around. Think of a name that has conquered the world in the true sense of the word and you will realise that they belong to this class of people. Their greatest impediment turns out to be their uniqueness. They continuously get knocks from different section of the larger community, who are bewildered and ask questions after questions in a bid to get the answers that they find satisfactory enough before such a person is accepted as one of the people.
History has taught us that in a bid to trail an unexploited path to glory, the road even though very rough and tough, becomes lonely. Only those who are willing to continue the journey alone until they finally clear the path for others to follow are finally regarded as the successful ones and pioneers of their chosen field of endeavour. Think of any great man and you will clearly see that the criticism the received was more than the encouragements they received during their times of trial. In the end the most important thing will be the glory that follows their accomplishments.
Today the trend has not changed in any way. Just like it was, so it is. Try to follow your own conviction and God’s direction to you, and then see the reaction that you will get from the people around you. If you are one of the many in this category of people or you aspire to belong to this rare breed, then my advice to you is very simple: get a mentor who can motivate you by his or her own life experience in trying to be a unique human on earth.
If you strive without any luck to find any of such people then I can refer to one that I have been fortunate to meet. From afar you will clearly see the reasons why some people are just not comfortable with the name Prophet TB Joshua. He exudes an air of easy virtue and humility, which He comfortably combines with the gift of prophecy and healing which God has endowed him with. How do you explain the fact that the Prophet grows with each session of criticism that is constantly directed at him, simply because he has decided to toll a path that until now has been untouched. The things of god are only understandable to Him alone, He can decide to use the least expected of vessels for His purposes and promises to mankind.
If the world can learn to embrace, respect and honour the words of Prophets such as TB Joshua then we will begin to appreciate the ease at which God can fulfil His promises to us. As a point of reference, consider the way God used the prophet Tb Joshua to deliver the U-20 world cup trophy to the African continent for the very first time through the nation of Ghana, who incidentally was willing to honour the words of god as it came from the mouth of Tb Joshua. The Coach Tetteh lead team harkened to the words of God and they got the victory, against all expectations especially after going down to ten men against a typically good Brazilian team.
The lesson to be learnt is that the time has come for all to obey God’s words, especially when spoken from His Prophet. There are a good number of prophets who are called by God to do His bidding on earth. Their physical appearance, educational qualifications and other human qualifications do not matter when it comes to the things of the spirit.
There is time for everytime, a time to labour and a time to be appreciated. After the storm comes the time for calm and a time to revel in the good things were deprived when the quest for uniqueness was on.
