How is this some sort of news? Is this the first time you folks are experiencing this in any competition around the world? What are you guys on? Expired Phensic?  Undecided
Why do you all enjoy speaking this bad of your own country.

Light went off. . .ehn? Is that the end of the world? Was the match called off? Was light not restored?

they should have installed some solar panels and back up batteries. that way even when phcn fails, the match would have gone ahead uninterrupted.

It wasnt stated anywhere that there was power failure. Please read well before hammering on a country u belong to and wouldnt have been any better if given the opportunity to lead.

Even new equipment fails, the problem was with the halogen lights and it was just one and not all.

The fact dat there was power failure is not laffable.

What is shameful is d fact dat there was no planning.
If dey had planned, perhaps the light wud have bn powered
with gen through out the game.

Trust dem thieves, dey wud have hijacked d gen to dem house instead.

As per PHCN, don expect no good
reason being Problem Has Changed Name (PHCN).

It's such a pity that most of us are bitter cos of the experience we've had for over 10yrs with NEPA/PHCN that we're quick to conclude on issues even before we hear the true story.
How many of us actually watched the match & saw what the headline's referring to? Anyway, i'd say we're all just human cos i was thinking like most peeps in this room until i read thru most of the posts to identify what really happened. Well, nothin spoil cos i see a brighter future (I have a dream.  .  .)

God Bless Nigeria!   Smiley   Wink

It is rather frustrating and totally dissapointing the way we perceive our country. We have a stereotype but should we blow it out of proportion. We should give positive criticisms that will get to the right ears and enhance the situation.

It is our country - Nigeria and there is nothing we can do about it, no matter what  we feel we cannot deny that we are Nigerians. But we can make a bold statement to disagree with the situation by posting constructive criticisms.

I believe in a better country, i believe in a better Nigeria. I believe in a better situation.

Thanks.
Am just me

I also love Nigeria, that's why I am still here, but we must learn to point at our mistakes and find a lasting solution to it.

The stupid Mr motion raiser Senator who want to summon immigration boss on illegal migration in last week edition did not see that to raise motion about? He did not see bad road to raise motion about? He did not see our last match with Germany U17 how poor the pitch was to raise motion about? Pls light is off or on is no more news pls.

in evrything, nigerians will always bring Yar A'dua's sickness into it. It is really not good. We all know that he is sick and sickness can happen to anybody whether ordinary or highly placed. When Obasanjo was there, he was not sick and he did not get everything right. Likewise others b4 him.

Nigeria's problem did not start with YD and we shld learn to stop using his sickness which is not his making to mock him.

How did this light/PHCN problem start and who started it? Let our criticisms be objective and with good intention.

Peace
