Most of those who post ought to be thriving on the Jokes section of the forum. Fellas just think it's a joy to ridicule the country at every instance without knowing the repercussions 'll meet you outside the country.
FIFA knew the energy situation of this nation before awarding us the rights. People just act irrationally without verifying facts. Nigeria is not the only nation to experience technical hitches in equipments used.
It's funny PHCN is giving uninterrupted supply in hosting centres. The equipments became faulty during the game and not a problem of power supply. So some people should stop exposing their ignorance in arriving too easily at a wrong conclusion.

Dear All, U guys aint seen nothing yet wait until the final match-u better go and get a touchlight if u will be seeing the final match at the stadium, this is wat happens when u chop alone and leave out the small people that make things happen. The engineers are probably sabotaging the LOC effort who have refuse to give them piece of the national cake that we dont know who baked!
The day we know our problem thats when we can find solution to it. We thought we could make do with generator but it obviously dissapointed us. Its high time we allowed states to generate their own electricity from solar, wind, gas, thermal or hydro and then integrate it to the national grid. If I become the president, below will be my 'seven point agenda':
1. Electricity Generation 2. Electricity Distribution 3. Electricity Maintenace 4. Electricity Storage 5. Electricty Bank 6. Electricity Transformation & 7. Electricity Supply
Withought electricity we cant see our problem-we need light to see these problems! Our 'only problem' is electricity.

There is nothing wrong in lights going off in a stadium during games because even in western world it do happen sometimes. My question is why should it take that long to restore it? That meant that there was no efficient backup plan in place. Maybe the organisers must have prayed and said, "God dey my brother it will never happen" a trademark of Nigerian mentality.

Good for them, bloody hypocrites trying to impress foreigners. To think that they blocked some roads because of that match and made us go through hell yesterday. Nonsense, how wonder if hosting a tournament is nigeria's problem now.

To some extent I personally agree with you. Lights do go out sometimes even in the developed world. However, I dont think that the problem is with well meaning, loving but impoverished Nigerians, as you claimed! with their 'NEGATIVE ENERGY'. Transformation my good friend starts from the top and it comes out of proper planning and organisation. There is nothing like luck in it. My good advice to you now is ' Could you please go and stand on a track of a speeding train, but before you do that, profess very very good that the train will not kill you and we see what happens. Dont forget to kiss your loved ones bye first before you do that.
