IGNORANCE IS A DISEASE!!!!!

homosexuals, prostitutes, lesbians etc  belong to what is called the high risk group!!!!
they engage in so many activities that can infect there blood!!
it is NOT advisable getting blood from such people.

they av a high percentage of all kinds of blood related diseases cos of the life they live.

@topic
In UK ( I suppose poster is referring to the information from UK media) certain donors are excluded from donor pool because of their life style.  I am afraid discrimination or non-discrimination, you are not supposed to put others life at risk.  "Men who ever had sex with another man" cannot donate blood.

if the blood is clear/clean and is a match for you, would you still refuse it becos the donor is apparently gay?

It is the guidelines which aim to reduce the risk of blood recipients.  It's not your choice who the donor should be.  Even for directed donation for your relatives, you are expected to go through donor questionnaires the same as voluntary donors.

^^^It's not only man who had sex with man (not necessarily gays, and don't need to disclose sexual orientation or preference), who ever used intravenous drugs even if once, and many other things in the donor questonnaires.  Potiential donors are asked to read the questionnaires and they can leave the donation centre with no need to give the reasons if they think they ever had high risk behaviour.
