Breaking News: Soludo’s Father Kidnapped

Father of the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)  Prof. Chukwuma Soludo , Pa Simeon Soludo has been Kidnapped.  It would be recalled that the former CBN governor has indicated interest in the gubernatorial election of Anambra State slated for next year.

Soludo who had emerged the guber candidate of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party for the Anambra election has come under media and legal attack by his opponents. The kidnap of his father has added a new dimension to the emerging scenario in the sate. Details later…

The kidnapping of Soludo's father only makes Prof Soludo more sellable to the Anambra electorates.

If this kidnapping is poltically motivated, then it is a plus for Soludo. If it is the usual kidnapping then its a different story.

To be followed by accusing fingers pointing in all/no directions,then the charade touted suspects arrest and eventual release of the victim and claims by NPF or whoever that no ransom was paid.

BTW? We shouldn't see this as politically motivated as i don't see how this will stop Soludo from contesting.
Kidnappers have been kidnapping important people for ransom before now.
