Ah! My error!

I initially passed on yours because I didn't think it fit the non-portrait category, but I misunderstood your comment 'to squeeze in on the "Couch."' My bad.

Sure, observers are most welcome - Refreshments are in the room to your right; please help yourself Grin

Hahahaaa. . . Mohawkchic as a volunteer Receptionist? Wow, the market value of this thread hit the roof as soon as you made that announcement!!! You are so kind  Cheesy

Profile Pix: http://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=172739

Pix Summary: X-ray image of an individual preparing to smoke an unlit cigarette and a helping hand with a lighter for the smoker. The image is captioned, “Nothing dey happen – Smoking dey kill?” The acronym “RIP” is written on the skull of the smoker. Background is black.

What your pix says to me: You cut through the clutter to see things/people for what/who they are – People may try to pull the wool over your eyes, but you have a way of pulling back the curtain and cutting to the chase. You are forgiving, only when the counterparty is also inclined towards resolution, otherwise, he/she is dead to you. Although you value relationships, betrayal and deception are grounds for you to pull the plug – You are able to move on from such relationships more than average folks. In a vote between predictability and changeability, you will vote for predictability most times because it allows you plan and you hate surprises – You will do well as a specialist since you can plan your work along predictable, directed paths and achieve outstanding performance all the time. You are hesitant about your long term goals which makes you tweak and second-guess them – You will do well to remember that you are the #1 Shareholder in ENQUE Inc.; if you’re not taking chances with her, no one else will. Some folks can endure and suffer greatly for a desired outcome. . . Let’s just say you’re not one of those folks! You pay attention to details and think through consequences before taking action, which makes you generally risk-averse, as you may exaggerate unpleasant outcomes. You consider yourself a helper, but only if the one being helped is heading in the right direction. Finally, while some people get a kick from having disagreements with those they love, you dread falling out with loved ones and are usually open to resolution thereafter.

@ lady_hard

Without knowing anything else about you, e.g. what you do, age range, etc, I have provided a generic feedback below with the hope that you will be able to apply them to your specific circumstance:

You are a no-frills realist / You are bottom-line focused
You don’t pussyfoot around. You are the first (and only person so far) to go straight for the jugular upfront – “Hi Canuck, Go ahead with my picture, tell me the negative things I need to change to make 'me' a better 'me'.” This is generally a strength, but you can make it better.

Being bottom-line focused, you may miss out on the gems of ideation (discussed further below) as you may see it as time-wasting. Here is a helpful analogy - No frills means slapping food on a plate so long as it’s healthy and filling; what you may want to start doing is spending time garnishing it. Bare bones will do, but fleshing things out will get you the prize and glorious finish.

Execution is inevitable (you will eventually get things done), but excellence is not.

Finally, remember that most of what you identify as ‘real’ today did not exist at some point – It is therefore OK to plan and charge ahead even if you do not have all the answers today.

May tend to shoot down ideas you consider ‘pie-in-the-sky’
"Man's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions." -Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr
Give yourself and others permission to dream. Separate the process of generating ideas where no idea is considered foolish, impracticable, etc, from the process of critiquing them where you can merge ideas together for an outstanding outcome. That way, you will not stifle great ideas that initially come forward as lacking substance. That’s brainstorming.
A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week. – General George S. Patton

You take the lead only when absolutely necessary.
This speaks to your inclination as a doer, rather than a leader. Learn that leadership has nothing to do with titles, but with the attitude.

The sixth President of the US, John Quincy Adams, said "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." Take the lead and initiatives in small, unnoticeable projects and gradually build up your confidence in this area.

Finally, developing effective leadership skills is an apprenticeship job - Begin to pay close attention to, and learn from leaders you admire. . .even if it's from afar.

Hope you find this useful!

LOL! Honeric01, if doing one on myself would be the height of excessive self-absorption and navel-gazing.  Grin Grin

On the contrary, I pay to have it done for me, and have been doing so for years with different personality analysis tools out there.

Sports-themed avatars are the most unreliable and fickle because they likely communicate the owners' devotion to a sport, team, etc. I am unable to draw useful details from it because millions of other people support such sport, team, etc.
