Marketing Officers Needed In A Steel Construction Company

Our Client is successful manufacturing company involved in fabricating and assembling steel and aluminum structures for manufacturing, Aerospace, construction etc industries in Lagos Nigeria. They are in need of a Marketing officer.
The Marketing officer would be required to work closely with other professionals, sometimes engineers and surveyors, promote a brand of steel construction materials and make sure that it has a long lasting place in the market.

Marketing Officer

Main Function:
• Develop new business to continue growing the territory to Produce solutions for customers in a variety of demanding industrial environment
• Effectively present oral and written proposals and presentations to customers 
• Updates and other reporting for Management will be required
• Ongoing service and support to existing and future customers
• Research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of steel products and services.
• Gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution and use survey results to create a marketing campaign based on regional preferences and buying habits.
• Determine the demand for products and services offered by other firms and its competitors and identify potential customers.
• Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the firm's profits or share of the market while ensuring the firm's customers are satisfied.
• Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.


Requirements:
• B.Sc Degree in Marketing or any relevant field
• Industrial sales experience is mandatory
• Experience selling steel industrial products to construction industries is desirable
• Experience selling to middle management
• Must be confident
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to use Microsoft office suite
• Must have a minimum of 3-5years experience within the same capacity
