Parts For My Toshiba Piii Laptop

I recently had a problem with my PIII Toshiba Lap Top.

The processor fan failed and consequently the monitor stopped displaying, though power goes into the system.

Someone tells me that I may need to change the processor as well as the fan before it will work.

Can any one tell me where I can get the parts for replacement? I stay in Port Harcourt.

Have we carriedout any diagnostics such as connecting the laptop to external monitor and see what happens ?

Asking a user to ring you without 1st line diags just doesnt sound good to me . Anyway @ poster I"ll suggest you ask some tecs to provide you

a pentium 3 laptop?

i'm sorry, but you're better off throwing it away imho.

the only solution i can see is getting another similar model and cannibalizing it

i doubt if you will find spares for a 9 year old laptop
