The fingerprint aspect is washed out. So exclude that from the list of evidences. Even FBI will not look at it. How are you going to separate the fingerprints of the CBN staff who counted the money from those of others? They are all on each other. Old boy don't be fixated on the finger prints, this not 1800, or 1900s. We're in 2009, getting to 2010. These bills have numbers, markings, and etchings that are both seen and unseen. Interestingly, these tools were put in place to fight money laundering cases like this one.

Hunhn, so many revelations in the land, one day, I repeat one day, someone would take action to correct situation of things in this Quantry (country). Ribadu could have ARRESTED IBORI right there. Infact, he should have stationed POLICE around the place and once money handed-over every one get arrested. That is what a dummy POLICEMAN would do, if he is truly HONEST! Looking at above, IBORI has no case to answer. Uba should provide answers. Too Many Questions: 1. What was $15million doing in Andy Uba's house? 2. Same Uba was caught in USA laundering money for OBJ using Nigeria Presidential Jet. 3. Ribadu knew money was waiting for him as he did not show any suprise. 4. Since Ribadu and Uba are OBJ boys, it makes sense that they were trying to frame him. 5. The only person that can afford to 'forget' $15million(N2billion) in Nigeria has to be 'OBJ and his cohort. If above is all Ribadu had against IBORI, no wonder he failed to nail him! People, when I read the post from becomrich, I laughed until i nearly broke my ribs. this man is something else.
On Ribadu Vs. Ibori, what exactly do we need from Ribadu to prove that he was bribed by Ibori? Is Ibori such a smart guy that would require such a huge sum to frame him up despite all his known attrocities. I don't think it is difficult to crack if the case goes to court. Ribadu is no saint, but he deserves some credit for the little he did in anti corruption campaign.

We get many would be lawyers and forensic experts for Nairaland.
For those who say Ribadu should have arreted Ibori there and then, that wasn't possible because Ibori was a sitting governor and he had immunity. Immediately after his tenure was over, he was arrested and the case is still in court. It will be decided this month if Im right though we have heard how Ibori has been able to buy over the judge, well, that's left to be proved.
As for the cash or cheque people. No case is ever straight forward, all you need is a good lawyer. Whether he paid by cheque or cash. If by cheque, I can always claim my signature was forged and the cheque sheet was stolen and with Naija corrupt police, I can even go a step further to claim I reported the stolen cheque sheet to the police when I discovered it. Simple.
If its cash, I think this is easier to trace as all they need to do is investigate all your bank accounts within that period for when you withdrew large amount of money in foreign currency. Unless ofcourse, you have been hiding the money under your bed.
Anyways in all, the fact is that there is a 15 million dollars in CBN doing nothing! Government is about increasing price of fuel, a lot of people cannot afford school fees, hospitals are filled with patients who cannot afford to pay their bills and we are here on Nairaland speaking English.

Gaphy, I will advise you to learn how to read first. Did you miss the part of my post where I clearly stated that I do not support Ibori? For goodness sake, learn to read first and if something is NOT clear to you, you have the right to ask. Now to the topic. You say he should show his face in the UK? How does that sound to you? Why must he travel to the UK? Why don't you tell Ribadu to come home? I (unlike you) have decided to keep an open mind and let the court decide. It beats me as to why people take Ribadu words as the gospel truth. For all we know, the time frame is yet to be established.
