Start with Python. Move on to C#. Then expand your horizons with Scala.

Whichever programming language you begin with, make sure it's Object-oriented, that way it will be easier to delve into procedural languages. I started with procedural and had a helluva time trying to get a grasp on OOP. Cheers.

Currently all the programming Laguages have advantage but this depends with you what do you want how fast do you want to achibe online/

Programming languages have their strengths, for instance c,c++,c# tend towards delivering power of control to you (systems programming). Powerbuilder, FoxPro, and other RDBMS tend to delve more into database controls. It depends on what you really want. I will suggest for a start you master Visual Basic. Why? it allows you to learn all modern techniques in programming which you will find useful when you are ready to migrate to more advanced programming languages.
