@OP
After a heartbreak, its time to sit down and re-evaluate your life. Reflect on the past relationship, what you should have done differently, what you failed to do, etc. You also look at achievements/benefits from the relationship e.g. improvement in behaviour, attitude, career, education etc.
From the above, you should map out plans for your future and the kind of person you should move on to.
When you are comfortable with yourself, your heart and your emotions; and sronger in your reasoning its time to move on to a new relationship. But most importantly avoid making same mistakes.
I try not to think on the negative aspects of any break up; just pick out the good parts and lessons learnt and move on when I am ready.
