I think it is very important to examine this article before jumping into conclusions. First of all, there has been a mass over exaggeration on the path of the government agency and an utter lack of evidence to support their claims. Making such severe accusations should come with proof of these allegations. In my opinion, and based on the history of government agencies, I sense some foul play in this matter. If these situations were really as bad as they are being presented, why do we not have pictures and videos to support the accusations? In an ideal situation, pictures should have been taken and printed along side with the articles in order to meet the burden of proof.

Sweet sensation has refuted these claims and intends to get to the bottom of the situation. As you can imagine, a company who is being accused of such unthinkable things is usually silenced by the strength of government. There has been NO record of any previous sanitation violations of the company. In fact the agency in question has visited several outlets since the release of this article, and has had to admit that the situations in other outlets are above and beyond the sanitation requirements.

I am a loyal customer of the fast food eatery and just happen to know a little more than meets the eye. I want to encourage everyone who hears these things to kindly examine the truth bend it. Why do we not have pictures? Why won’t the agency release proof to back up their claims? Why are they just finding out these things? Is there any political agenda here? It is very important to ask yourself these questions before jumping into conclusions.

Dear people,

Why do we always believe stuff we hear about without looking into its authenticity. Its 2009 and as the elections get closer every sector in Nigeria is trying to do something memorable to aid in their 'whatever point agenda' they have for us again in the year 2011.

To the best of my knowledge sweet sensation is one of the best restaurants dat we have in Lagos and the story being circulated now about the quality of hygiene maintained there is quite hard for me to believe as an educated Nigerian, pardon me if you think otherwise but no article is going to just make me turn my back on a restaurant that has been in existence for over a decade with many awards to its name.Suddenly,Nafdac has remembered that its duties includes food,i thought they were particular about the drugs,

In my mind this is an attempt to lower the reputation of this restaurant in the mind of right-thinking members of the society, people pls change d topic

two newly registered NL members canvassing for the same thing, why am I not surprised?. First of all, poor hygiene in fast food restaurants is no news in Nigeria or abroad. and this your conspiracy theory is totally baseless- how does this relate to the govt trying to meet its 7-point agenda? that's an illogical argument because if the govt wants to earn brownie points with the people there are more important areas such as the Niger Delta, fuel, electricity, roads etc.  I also do not think it is the job of NAFDAC to be posting pictures neither do I think the eatery will let journalists in to take pictures so we have no proof. If you say the story is exaggerated I might want to agree with you but it is definitely not false. stories don't just jump out of the sky, there is an iota of truth.

So pls go back to your company and work on your hygiene issues instead of wasting time here trying to rebuild an image that you've already tarnished by feeding us with unclean food made from a bath tub Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry.

I am shocked that people can actually try to defend some company that are yet to come out and release a statement as per what happened and what is going on.
I remember when i was growing up in Nigeria, you will see a restaurant right beside a washroom, and hygiene is so terrible in Nigeria, so i surely will blv this, cos i have see few, you will see people pounding yam and their sweat will be dropping inside the morta and no one cares, people will cut the meat on the table and no gloves or anything, so tell me what you think we shd beleive? that this is an accusation cos of election that is coming up in some months? pls, let us get real and stop making excuses for some dumb acts
